releasing .sub files?

Would that still be illegal? It pretty much has nothing to do with the anime itself. And since it's still easy to get raw versions of anime after a anime has been licenced, wouldn't it be easy just to distribute .sub files?

Just an idea I got, if I'm crossing any lines or foum policys, just delete this thread....

I would suggest you read up a bit about what is legal.

The raw has about the same legality as a fansub. Distributing just the translation is just as illegal as distributing a fansub.

If you're not sure what 'licensed' implies, then please read about it here, Licensed Anime.
