I'm just wondering, why does the some other colour on his/her headprotectors, is it because that they experts on somethings, like Rock Lee he has a red headprotector, and he IS a taijustsu, and and so on. Or is it simply that can choose colours?

No one knows for sure... probably just something that was drawn in my kishimoto because he got bored of blue headbands. They might mean something, but I don't think so.

In the manga, the headband default colour is dark blue, but Ino has purple, Sakura has green, ect.

I think some people are over analyzing stuff in the series. Just like some ninjas dont wear the forhead protector on their forehead, some people got different colours. Just for variation.

I think there was a thread called "Rock Lee's red forehead protector" or something closely related to that. I know I've seen this discussed before so search a bit harder if you don't get the answers you want here. As for me I think the artists were tired of drawing blue.

well you didnt butcher Sasuke's name by doing that and his name is Itachi, but I agree that episode (Ino Sakura fight) was a real example of how the forehead protecters meant somthing

hmmm, one question. Why does Zabuza atill have his head protector with no markings on it?

since he still wears it, he should at least have a scratch through it or something.

=Well,the only people in the Naruto universe who have a scratch along the center of their forehead protectors are the Akatsuki members.
