I'm assuming it's a nomination round for either Saimoe or Korean Best (but it's in Japanese, so I'll say Saimoe for now)

The Tower of Druaga's Coopa seems to have taken 11th both weeks.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to get contacts at 2ch, especially when you don't know Japanese.

Amu is probably already qualified. At least I have seem her in a Saimoe promo.

Kinny told me a month ago that he's too busy to deal with this year's Saimoe, but he'll probably pop back in September.

The website is not up yet. The nomination will begin from late June.

Meh, they all look the same to me since I have my eyes on Haruna for the whole episode pretty much.

Actually, same opinion here on TLR as KS; I'm really only watching it because of Haruna. But knowing Urusei Yatsura, it really doesn't look good...

Only reason why Mikan caught my eye (and thus I remember her) is because she has the same seiyuu as Kaminagi of Zegapain (the character I found most moe this decade mainly because of her voice acting). If it weren't for that fact, she'd be forgotten in my memory like the most of the lolis in anime lol.


And of Shugo Chara, that's one show I've been putting off watching ever since my old comp broke down. Awesome show to whoever likes mahou shoujo shows, as IMO its the best in recent memory. But for some reason I thought it was only a 2 cour show, so I was waiting on a batch torrent that isn't coming as the show is really scheduled for 4 cour.

Need to see it to the latest episode before the tourney proper starts, but between RL and my purchases (Ergo Proxy is so freaking amazing), I'm really hardpressed for time. Because as predicted by a lot of people in last year's saimoe tourneys, it does seem like Shugo Chara is one of the top seeds in this year's tourney.

Just a shame though that the desu lookalike isn't voiced by desu ~nyororon

I've been putting off Shugo Chara since mid-Fall '07, and I almost started it a couple months back, but I don't remember what happened.
Well, I guess I'll have to get to that sometime, eh?

I personally can't see why.

Maybe the manga is a lot better thus attracting more people to vote for it than based on the anime because honestly, the anime isn't anything special imo.

And I'm still waiting for a special someone to turn up in loveRu...it's taking too long >_<

Shugo Chara is awesome in my opinion (in a few forums I have heard some people say that SC is the new CCS).
About as good as a Mahou Shoujo can get.

I disagree on that.

A good mahou shoujo will have me sitting on the edge of my seat.

The start of Shugo chara was good but it soon fell prey to the repetitive syndrome and an agonising crawling pace.

Well, looks like I disagree with all of you on the best Magical Girl. I will say this though. A moe character doesn't have to be in the best show ever.

Agreed, this doesn't only apply to Magical Girls.

I love ~desu, but I didn't really like Rozen Maiden for its STORY, it certainly falls short of being stellar or even the best there.

(I loved the characters though ^^)

Well, we all agree to disagree on that.
In my opinion (and in the opinion of some other fans), Shugo Chara is better than Nanoha, but I guess it's natural that some disagree with that.
