More like an alternate reality. Good example here is Tsukune getting brain trained lol by the Lamia teacher, Moka rescues him and Mizore helps. In the MANGA it's only Moka who rescues him.

i agree with hayashi, avoid the manga if you never read it. se1 was messed up and se2 doesnt look like it'll be faithful to the manga too much.

lol i just gave up waiting for subs as im not sure when a group will decide to pick it up. the first few secods were totally predictable and the op isnt that bad although its animation is a bit too tacky for my tastes. lol its like it looped over constantly over the same scene. i like how they but the bats in convenient locations, even though they're annoying they're still the better that avoiding the bats in the 1st place. lol as expected se2 isnt really going to be that good anyway so let the trainwreck begin.

In the anime, EVERYONE is introduced within a couple of episodes or so, like real quick. In the manga, it takes some time, like how Tsukune meets Ruby AFTER he has gone "wild" and meets Mizore even much later.

This however was changed in the anime, as he meets Mizore much sooner and Ruby nearly the last episode. So yeah, lots of changes and he goes wild after pretty much meeting everyone.

Um, Chihiro already released their subs for the 1st episode, the H264 version is out at the time of this post and the XVid version will be released tomorrow morning.

Also, m.3.3.w is subbing the series as well so we get to choose between fansubs. They will also will be releasing their version sometime tomorrow.

Both fansubs are using the MX version (aka the "uncensored" version) as their source, which is great so releases are to be expected every Saturday.
