A merry band we'll make. Let's hope Pellissier works some of his magic for us, then. Any other contributions are more than welcome as well, as far as I'm concerned.

I support this endeavor.

Dibs on Momiji.

That sounded a bit disturbing...

I'm so far behind - haven't been participating in the thread to avoid spoilage.

However... this season is so sparse perhaps I'll get caught up.

Be sure to post your impressions when you do. I'm quite interested in what you have to say.

I'll get on board... if some one can walk me through the process of adding an Avatar and sig.

(Yeah, Yeah, I bet I can figure it out myself, I'll go work on that now).

Now on to the idea of what the signiture should be... Should it be focused on the awesomeness of Kou? Or should we have more than one? Maybe one for Aoba and Azuma? Or even Wakaba...

So lets get the brainstorming going:

I guess the most obvious would be something that references Kou's line at the end of episode one.

"It's so simple... I should just cry" - Kō Kitamura, proving real men do cry

I don't know, what else.

"Tsukishima is your fried noodle bowl?" - Yūhei Azuma {insert witty comment here}

"If I go out with you once, you'll be satisfied, right?" - Aoba Tsukishima aka Baseball Venus, on why she's going on a date with 5 guys simultaneously.

EDIT: Okay, figured out the avatar thing- I think that for the avatars we should all have the exact same one. More noticeable that way. Signatures will actually get read, so I think those can have some variation.

All the same avatar, eh? How about Kou from the OP, with the GAR grin, giving the big "V" after the big windup?

I'll change my ava to whatever you guys decide on when you have it. For now, Nomo Shock!

I do still think the simplest and most effective way to spread CG is to somehow coax people into watching the 1st epi. I know I got one person hooked with a dare... And a lot of nagging.

I tried that. Found that it's best to get them to commit to at least 2 episodes, otherwise some people will respond: "That's such a downer" and not watch after the first episode.

Actually the first episode is what hooked me. As in -- okay, they're not afraid to establish a strong start.

Me too... but apparently some people need a happy note to keep them involved.

Yes, but we're going the subliminal route this time around

Having the same avatar sounds good to me, Kou doing the "V" then?

As for the sig, I think having a sig of younger Kou crying with his hat on would be a very good one, just as Sackett suggested.

I don't think having two images of Kou will attract many fans. I mean, as godly as he is, it doesn't mean much to someone who hasn't seen Cross Game. I was thinking more along the lines of something which communicates that Cross Game has a nice slice of life and romance side along with the sports angle.

Aoba is standing at a very nice angle in the shower.
