Along with his servant Peon, they travel across the land in search of fair maidens from classic stories in hopes of finding Ludwig a wife.

This is one of the better manga i have read recently. Yuki-sensei twisted take on the grimm's fairy tales is so much fun. My 2 favorite characters so far is:

I love this manga! Im a huge Yuki-sensei fan to begin with since The Cain series in my fav but LaKu is def one of her best. Im glad Aerandria is nearly done since Im always happy when a new chap is out. Ive called this manga a fairy tale on crack

They still got one more vol to go and vol4 hasn't even been release yet. So it will be a while, especially for the Eng audience who can't read a 2nd language

As for Luwig's bride search, I wouldn't be surprise in the end if he ends up marrying the fairy/witch. Her bust is real and so far there really isn't another female character that fits him so well.

I dunno, I dont really see him ending up with anyone the guys standards are well high XD I did like that he didnt marry that one girl since her breasts were fake Itll be interesting to see how the series ends, personally Im glad we still have 1 vol to go

i spoke too soon on vol4 looks like it is release. The Chinese Scans have been release.

Vol 4 Summary and Thoughts:

vol was certainly unexpected although it almost ended the way i thought it would. To start off with we have Ludwig almost dying but was save by a spell of Dorathea which switch the wound form him to her. Dorothea also awoke the spirit of Idike to help her. THe king was apparently under the spell of the suppose mistress who also had most of the royal guards under her spell. This all ended when THe Real Queen came back (that was who Red Riding Hood was sent to fine by Ludwig at the end fo vol3). The King was shock back to sanity by the appreance of the Queen (with whips and nazi uniform). The mistress transform into a Dragon but was defeated by the combine power of Dorothea and Idike. That was a really touching scene between Idike and Ludwig as they get to say a real good bye to each other.

due to taking the wound that Ludwig had receive, Dorothea was dying. however before she die she reveal that she is curse to live again and that she was really glad to have meet prince ludwig. It was reveal that Dorothea came form a country in the far north that has a city of gold and the city is haunted as no one who has every gone there ever came back.

We also found out why Juilian wants Ludwig dead as He wanted revenge for her sister (funny scene when juilian told Ludwig he wanted to avenge his sister and all women kind and Ludwig sprout off the names of 2 dozen princess ). Juilian thought that Ludwig had killed his sister but it turn out the person who he saw was actually Ludwig's mother the queens, who appareantly likes to go and invade other countries

Luwig, Wil and Red goes to the haunted city in the north and in the meantime we hear about Yuki-sensei ver of the Blue Light. I am not going to summarize the story blue Light since it would be too long but you guys can read it yourself, Yuki-sensei ver is only slightly different then the Grimm's ver. Anyway Ludwig and party went to the city and when Red started taking some of the gold zombies appear. The ran into the palace and found the Doreatha (in Loli form) and the guy responsible for it all. The GUY had apparently made a pack with the imps to take over the world if he supplies enough gold to the imps. The zombies had follow Ludwigs party into the palace becuase they sense Red has gold, Red's gun is made of gold, a gift form Ludwig's mother. Ludwig the the gun at the GUY and the zombies swamp him making him lose his grip of the pipe. Ludwig snatch the pipe and using the blue flame summon the imp and told them to take all the gold and go away. The imps takes the gold and drags the GUY down to hell with them for finishing his end of the bragain. This frees everyone in the kingdom and they all pass on except Dorathea who returns to life However she is lolifiy and no longer has that Bust Line.

The party returns to Ludwig's kingdom. Ludwig's mother decided to adopt Juilian since she felt slightly guilt for causing his sisters death. And the King decided to turn the throne over to Ludwig after he suffer some injuries (Remember Queen and he Whip ). Later that night Ludwig decide to run away since he still hasn't found his bride. Wil of course went with him and Red is chasing after them both as she just wanted to settle down to a nice quiet life with Wil. Dorothea decide to hang around as well. Of course she is now a gothic loli with a maschoist leaning.

So Ludwig ends in a open ended style so if Yuki-sensei decides to she can continue on with more fairy tales . I still think Dorothea fits Ludwig the best but i guess she needs a few more years to recover form being lolify and recover her D-cup.

Ah... it was fun seeing such a twist on old fairy tale characters.

LK's a pretty old series from Yuki-sensei, at least when it comes to the English scans. Always nice to see more people hopping on to her bandwagon.

I've only read a bit of LK (a corpse-loving prince, oh yes...). Still, given how AS blew my mind way open, it shouldn't come as a surprise.

I find that Yuki-sensei's stronger in fantasy. Her "real-life" series (Boys Next Door) doesn't seem that creepy. (Of course, the very fact that it's "real life" means that the "stunts" have to be toned down to be believable.)

I shoulda known, since it was the same drawing type as all those other mangas from whatever comics [HOPE THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO SPECIAL A? ] but like, the ending was just like o.O and short. It's like that Belmont manga. Completely random ending. Like, something that a guy like me would do, because I'm not a professional and completely half-assed.

Like, don't get me wrong, this was damn interesting, despite being nowhere near cash cow material. It's just that, I hope some of these mangakas will learn that projects like this are the reason why you aren't the guy who makes giant paychecks in the manga industry scale and why your naruto-like movie isn't being published 50x a year or something. It simply reeks of ideas just someone with a bit of an imagination thought of, and can't see through to a proper end. I'm not saying stuff has to be long, but when you tie up all the loose ends by MAKING UP LOOSE ENDS THAT ARE ALREADY TIED IN A GRANNY KNOT, it gets stupid.

But say, this was some side project for someone who just really wanted to get it off their chest or something, it's quite the accomplishment
