I wonder what beef Visidian has with the Diva anyway. Is there a motive to their intercepting them? Or being pirates, is it just a case of going after the booty?

Actually, I think it's just the matter of the guy who scanned and posted that image accidentally cropping out the back skirt. If you look at this picture of the GB Dark Hound, you can still see its back skirt. Plus, those binders on its shoulders really resemble wings. I'm betting on it retaining its Strider form. I mean come on, even Double Bullet had it no matter how crappy it looked.

I wonder how those hooks work. The handle placements look a little odd on them - plus, throwing them like it did in the OP3 would be quite silly unless it has some way of retrieving them, by remote control or wire etc.

With the upcoming release of the MG AGE-2, I really, really hope this makes it into MG form. By far my favourite MS design in AGE.

If you notice the OP, you can see the hook does have wire attached

Nitpicking, but this isn't actually the case. Note that the official lineart for the AGE-2 Normal also shows the back skirt in the manner featured here: hidden behind the left leg. So no, there was no cropping involved.

Point is moot anyway since we now have a rear view of the Dark Hound.

Yeah... I realised the spoiler was missing too. Hopefully we'll get updated images (and official lineart of its Strider form) once it debuts in the anime.

Hard to say for sure with that picture alone but it could be.

As for the the Dark Hound, I have to admit that I've taken a liking to it with the official lineart. Much much better than the previous art I've seen of it.

I'm curious onto where Visidian they got the data to make another AGE-2 though. Asemu doesn't have the Device with him anymore. Far from impossible especially since engineering of something like the AGE-2 is relatively outdated by this time but still something interesting to think about.

Considering the Visidian have mods of the Shalldol, G-Exes and G-Bouncer, I don't think outdatedness is much of a problem for them.

Yeah, a mobile suit frame can be decades old, but the powerplant, internal mechanics, OS and armor technology up-to-date.

"Ground type" Adele

You know, seeing the particle plasma bomb in the last episode packed quite a punch, I wonder whether it's possible for either side to develop a nuclear warhead?

I reckon it was one of the things to go in the Silver Chalice Treaty, if they still existed when it was signed (in case AGE world took a denuclearize weapon route like 00's did). It might be possible for the Vagans to have access to that data since their pre-Silver Chalice.

Probably don't need nuclear warheads with those bombs around now. I don't know much about plasma, but isn't that a clean energy or something? No fallout or nuclear waste?

Another thing, in episode 33 we see once again that DODS tech is still doing well against Vagan MS. Especially against the new mass production front line unit, the Danazine. So again I ask, why change up the order of things wih that Sigmasis rifle? If DODS tech is still working for low level grunt MS, why can't it just be adapted for high performance MS like the AGE-3?

Why couldn't they just bring in a Mega DODS cannon or something?

Sigmassis = KAMEHAMEHA MURDER BEAM WIELDED BY A 13 Y/O

My money is on the sigmassis.

"Still doing well" won't cut it for Gundam weapon technology. Better to overpower the opfor, which the Sigmaxsis technology accomplishes.

Plus the newer Clanches' weapon could be using improved DODS tech already (or even a Sigmaxsis type) with their distinctive square barrels.

And the DODS Rifles weren't managing to penetrate the Reganner's EM armor. The Sigmasis Rifle has no problem doing so.
