Looks like Riru has the ability to project images into other people's minds, almost like forcing Blackout Invoke on people. Seems she wanted to show a limited amount of her history to Cruz, Eve, and Disk. Best part of it is when the rescue worker is asking for her name, Riru responds with a very weakened "Eve" but the guy hears "Riru" and thus, that's how "Eve (I vu)" became "Riru". I actually laughed at that one. And yeah, looks like psychokinesis can allow for teleportation now.

I'm glad to see the Girls Squad back again but, OH NO, what happened to Setsuna? She was doing well against Teruyama but is now coughing up blood? Seems she doesn't know what happened but it'll be interesting to see how someone or something could hit her in the middle of a Dean Drive Black Bird. I'm glad the fight between Kuchinashi and Mio is as humorous as it is. Kinda wondering why Kuchinashi went for that attack... be even better to see who ends up winning.

Also, I'm wondering if another party joins the fight now if this will be how Setsuna and Kuchinashi finally join the good side. I guess for that to happen, Kuchinashi, Mio, and Teruyama would need to team up to whoever did that to Setsuna. However, if this just happens to be Setsuna overexerting herself (she seems to keep questioning herself and that frame on page 20 seems to show her stressing out or something, so maybe she's doing this to herself?) then I'm not sure what'll happen.

As for Arclight, looks like Rainmaker is a Stigmata Fragment (the marking on his chest), meaning that Hatfield probably had the potential but never possessed the Eden Seeds to be a Stigmata Needless. Kinda figured that the one on the chest would be for one of the girls but I guess Needless doesn't need anymore help incorporating fanservice. Not sure what Blade is saying at the end, so we'll have to wait for Ynot or js06 to properly translate it.

Did they specifically say he didn't have the stigmata, know Rain Maker could have been the stigmata ability and Aqua Coral is the base ability. Which would put that argument to rest.

Well Eden Seed doesn't doesn't really make them naturally more resistant, just lets him regenerated. Set and Solva tore him apart to the point that Eden Seed couldn't regenerate him since they ripped out his heart and brain

Since Riru seems to be lying in a smoking ruin, we can probably say with certainty that she was in some way involved with the accident that killed Kasumi. Maybe this might also be why Riru has Psychokinesis and Eve doesn't.

I'm also glad to be getting back to the girl squad fight, really looking forward to seeing what exactly Kuchinashi was scribbling so fast as she's fighting Mio. In regards to Setsuna, the only thing that seems to make sense was she was just attacked in some way right as she was about to land her attack. That or perhaps she somehow pushed her body too far trying to beat Teruyama.

@Avvesione and Xiammes. It could be that Hatfield could have been cloned, and developed a Stigmata after coming back just like Teruyama did.

If Riru was involved in the accident that killed Kasumi, the Eve project had to have taken place in a different location then the Adam project.

I don't think its a case of Setsuna overexerting herself, I will not except that explanation after the entire Shelter number 3 incident, and Uchida couldn't have attacked her considering he was surprised.

I think its the guy Saten let loose, or another clone of Uchida.

Here are my thoughts on the matter:

It seems like what's happening to Setsuna right now is one of either two things. She could either have been attacked by a new fighter or she could be overexerting herself.

If another person attacked her, then, well, it could potentially be anyone powerful considering they hit her in the middle of a Dean Drive Black Bird. The question is, why and that varies from person to person. If she was hit, then that'd make sense that she'd miss Teruyama since it'd throw her trajectory off. However, there are no visible wounds, yet, so it's hard to say what hit her to cough up the blood.

On the other hand, if she is overexerting herself, it could be due to the damage she received from earlier in this battle. She took that punch from both Mio and Teruyama which had her coughing up some blood (and I'm guessing this battle is still moments after Cruz left). She's also been talking about how she should be stronger than Teruyama and how she's the top of the Shoujo Butai, so maybe she's putting her body through more stress than ever before? That would explain why her body gave out during the DDBB, but doesn't make sense that she'd miss as a result.

Either way, it looks like the fight here will be ending soon. Doesn't seem like Setsuna will be able to fight much longer, though you figure she'll continue considering how arrogant and prideful she is (I'm guessing Kuchinashi will have to Maiden Restriction her before she hurt herself even more). And if there's another enemy that's joining the fight, I can see Kuchinashi, Mio, and Teruyama teaming up to fight whoever (or whatever).

Also, didn't mention this earlier, but I'm very happy this fight didn't end up being resolve offscreen (like Seto's and Solva's fights were).

Okay, small summary of the interesting parts of this months chapter. Riru was found in the ruins of the demolished Adam project site, 16 years ago. She was protected from the blast because she was in an experiment capsule. They asked her name but couldn't properly understand her so instead of Evu(Eve) they thought she said Riru. In the 10 years it took before she met Arclight again she was waiting and wondering for what purpose she had been given this power(perhaps she was in one of those tubes standing beside the one of the Second Christ?). It turns out she can pretty much do anything which has tele- or psycho- in front of it, including teleport and is still pissed at Eve for taking Blade's "sign of being a king". Eve wonders whether she's talking about doppleganger.

Meanwhile Teruyama and Mio are fighting Kuchinashi and Setsuna. Setsuna is really angry she doesn't have a stigmata (wow, look at the scary face she's making! That's the most frightening face I've ever seen in Needless!)and has a great opportunity to attack Teruyama because his defense(for his head and heart) is open. However all of a sudden something happens to her which prevents her from using that chance and makes her start coughing up blood.

Arclight is showing off a bunch of his stigmata powered fragments. Blade attacks him but it has, much to Yamada's surprise, no effect. Arclight returns to his usual little "I am god!" speech and afterwards he and Blade "attack" each other verbally. Looks like Blade is also making a couple of jokes using the fact god and paper are pronounced the same way in japanese(including the kind of paper you can find at the toilet). Arclight....is not amused... (the end isn't as exciting as last month's but Blade getting on Arclights nerves is nice too)

I'm sad I didn't get to see gigantors face, but happy I got to see Mio's hip attack once more. Kuchinashi's double powered defensive move was awesome

For those of you who can't read katakana, or are lazy, the abilities Riru lists are:

Apparition
Psychokinesis
Psychometry
Telepathy
...and Teleportation (Look out!!!)

I think (without actually attempting to translate it) she's saying these are all aspects of Psi Energy. Anyway, it means she and Arclight are now even more unbeatable than we thought. (If you can have degrees of unbeatability.)

I don't know what happened to Setsuna. I thought at first Teruyama faked with his right and got a hit in with his left, but I was misinterpreting the bit where she kicks his arm back. I'll have to see if I can come up with a suitably improbable explanation for that one...

Coughing blood is the sympton any subject, be it human or needless, suffers when the body cannot assimilate a certain virus: Eden Apple.

I bet this is why Setsuna's insides are going out of control. But why now?

And given Hatfield is the bearer of a stigmata, I daresay this settles the argument of whether Strom has it as well. One owns the ultimate water fragment, whereas the other has the ultimate ice fragment.

I'm of the opinion she was attacked, but then we have to ask what Needless power could catch her in the middle of her fastest attack. The only one I can think of right now (and since we were talking about it) is Rain Laser. It does cause a wound though, and like Avvesione said there isn't one shown.

When Setsuna starts spewing blood, she says "What's this?" (I think...) She doesn't know why it's happening, which implies it wasn't due to an attack. At least, not something like Rain Laser.

Black Bird isn't her fastest attack, but yeah it would take someone like Satan to catch her in the middle of it.

As I said before, its clearly not a case of her overexerting herself, this would be too convenient for Teryuama who already has the edge in combat with his stigmata. Its likely a reaction to eden seed or someone attacking her, not to mention this fight has barely happened been going on for a few minutes how could she overexert herself now when she didn't in Shelter #3?

Well, perhaps with Arclight wanting to see who had a Stigmata, they fed everyone some more Eden Seeds and see who developed what. Maybe that's how characters like Uten were able to develop their Stigmata recently but others (Setsuna) weren't. And maybe that extra dose of Eden Seed put her over the top and is now acting like a toxin in her body (I guess that'd make sense with that evil/demonic looking face she made in the middle of the chapter). Would make sense given how angry she is over not having a Stigmata.

And there's actually one person who comes to mind that could've hit Setsuna at such a speed and not left any sort of wound (well, external or obvious wound). And given how Mio was talking about an angel at the start of the fight, the one who she thought was protecting Cruz, it might actually be ANn or something. Wouldn't that be something?

Ah that's right, Rocket Sled is faster then Blackbird.

There is another possibility we can consider, rather then an adverse effect to Eden Seed, she might be under an attack via a Virus Fragment similar to Kurumi's Black Attraction.
