I don't really think you can call what they had a conventional relationship in the first place. What looks like a breakup might not even be that, but it's always vague, so who knows.
But it certainly seems like the fire has been lit in Zenkichi again, sorta. He acknowledges that he's been left behind again, meaning he'll have to work his hardest to get back up there. Last edited by Kurosu; 2013-03-22 at 22:18. |

Decent chapter on it's own, but, though unexpected developments are likely, the setup for the remainder of the arc is very uninteresting, as it foreshadows a dull repetition. I was also hoping for a greater focus on Zenkichi, but that appears to be a nearly nonexistent possibility for now.
A temporary break-up, perhaps, but, though we'll have to wait and see, I highly doubt it's going to be permanent. |

That punch felt good. Also: using her latest mode on the side characters? Harsh. Maybe it's so she can grab all their flowers without having to beat them down. 90 minutes for 100 people is a short time limit. Then again, Medaka can move crazy fast.
Here's hoping for more Anshin'in cameos! |

Eh...yea, this chapter wasn't really entertaining...in fact this manga hasn't been that entertaining recently, having really been eagerly awaiting to read the next chapter as I did way back in the earlier arcs. Not to mention that while I don't mind her...I don't really find Medaka interesting and entertaining, I love OP characters...hell I love Ajimu, but Medaka isn't really likeable enough for me.
I think I'll just drop this manga and maybe check back when it gets better like I did before. Hopefully it will soon enough. |

I wonder if we'll see akune and mogana again, its still rather sad that they just drop off the radar after zen became the president. |

Though I liked adding even more complexity to Zenkichi's development, the foreshadowing for the entire arc is bad news. Not only will it probably exploit even more Nishio's lack of internal logic, but is destined to be, like you said, full of dullness and repetition. As for Zen acting like a normal 16 year old kid growing up into an adult and finally leaving behind his childhood of following Medaka and living solely for her love and to be besides her: Good for you, kid. /Dr. House

I gotta say, though. It's really something to see how much Zenkichi grew.
From a kid who would spend his entire life chasing after his girlfriend, to an adult who realizes that he's not really going to live the life he wants to if he wastes it chasing after someone, that just being besides them isn't enough to give away everything else. "Well, who cares!" That was pretty epic.
