Lol this poll must be a joke since many other poll are not like that : Here is one from LeMonde :
http://www.lemonde.fr/a-la-une/sonda...ens_id=1241480 And 1,005 people is not the same thing as 60Million people... Now Mitterand leave our gouvernment. We don't want someone like you as your Culture Minister And what gett on my nerve too are the reaction of some socialist like Bernard-Henri Lévy

... Bribery? Who was bribed, and by whom?
It's just about notoriety. Mitterand thinks he can do whatever the hell he wants because of his family name, and now because of his position. And it looks like he's right. It's funny. I've always thought politicians were liars and thieves. Now, after the Polanski and Mitterand affairs, it looks like I'm going to have to add "pedophiles" to the list. |

Might rather be the government. Mitterrand became the Minister of Culture because our president Sarkozy decided it. It was the president's choice (I heard it's because his wife, Carla Bruni, advised him to choose Mitterrand). So, to fire him would be like admitting a big error. |

I also wonder how the Mitterrand name is still in the politics, considering all the past scandals surrounding the name and the family. |

Schwarzenegger signs gay rights bills (kind of):
Quote:
Secondly, while slow and steady wins the race, if California is going to give full legal rights to all gay or lesbian couples married outside of the state, why doesn't it simply go the extra mile and just make same-sex marriage legal again in California? Whatever the case, it is still good news for the Gay Rights movement in California. |

Arnie has time for this bullshit and banning the evil handgun ammo, but my district is announcing even more layoffs because the state is holding back $18 million they owe us by law. Good use of resources up there in Sacto, rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. |

Less hassle and fewer debates by CA politicians and constituents possibly? This looks like a good way for Arnie to net at least a few brownie points on the liberal side of CA politics. He's not going to make everyone happy - no matter what he decides - but at least he's not going to make other states unhappy by saying, "No, California will ignore your laws and marriage contracts, and declare them void here." It should also help in dealing with problems coming up for people's wills, child adoptions, taxes and so on, IMHO.

Goddamn, brotha. And yes, I see it as the Governator deciding he couldn't piss off the neanderthals that make up a sizable portion of his voters by actually trying to pass a bill legitimizing gay marriage, so he did the next best thing to gain some brownie points with liberals. |

Go to Iowa, get married and then come back home, then your marriage is recognized in your home state. Did this totally water down Prop 8 into nothing more than outlawing the wedding on California soil? Awesome and hilarious if that is the case.

Rachel is one of the top handful of intelligent analysts on American television these days (anywhere on the political spectrum). She leaves most other reporters, pundits, or analysts in the dust.
