The latest NFL news and it's all about Aaron:

A member of Aaron Hernandez’s family whom police wanted to question in connection with the ongoing murder investigation has died in a car accident. Thaddeus Singleton III, the son-in-law of Hernandez’s uncle, was killed when the car he was driving flew off the road and crashed into a pole. The car Singleton was driving was owned by Hernandez’s uncle. The death was ruled an accident. It is unclear what police believed Singleton knew about the murder of Odin Lloyd, but the report says that police had been seeking to speak with him. Singleton had previously been convicted of multiple drug charges in Connecticut. Singleton lived in Bristol, Connecticut, the hometown of Hernandez and both of the other men suspected of being involved in the murder of Lloyd.

Honestly this sounds a bit suspicious, even if they do say it is an accident.

New England Patriots backup quarterback Tim Tebow was a witness to a 2007 bar fight in Florida involving a then-17 year old Aaron Hernandez and tried unsuccessfully to break up the altercation, according to a Gainesville police report.

The fight broke out at 1 a.m. at the Swamp near the University of Florida campus, where both Tebow and Hernandez played football for the Gators. Hernandez tried to leave without paying a bill for two alcoholic drinks, according to the report, telling the server that he didn't order them. That prompted a manager to confront Hernandez, according to the report, and the exchange became heated, prompting Tebow to try to step in.

I wonder how he tried to stop it ?

If Aaron Hernandez wants to marry his high school sweetheart and mother of his 7-month-old daughter, it's not going to happen while he's in the Bristol County jail, Bristol County Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday.

Whether Hernandez wanted to tie the knot for love or courtroom strategy, Hodgson won't have it.

"I don't subscribe to that. I feel that those rights are things that you access on the outside, if you're a good citizen," he said. "We'll do everything we can to not have that happen."

So far, I have let to see any attempts on his part to try to marry his fiance to invoke spousal privilege.

A State Police search of an apartment maintained by former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez a dozen miles from his home uncovered numerous boxes of firearm ammunition and a hooded white sweatshirt possibly worn by Hernandez on the night prosecutors allege he orchestrated the killing of an acquaintance, Odin Lloyd, according to documents on file at Wrentham District Court.

“This sweatshirt is consistent in color and type with the sweatshirt that Hernandez is observed to be wearing on surveillance cameras the night of the homicide,” State Police wrote in an affidavit.

Things seem to getting worse and worse as the day go on for Aaron.

The truth is this: All told, Philadelphia stadiums house the most monstrous collection of humanity outside of the federal penal system. "Some of these people would boo the crack in the Liberty Bell," baseball legend Pete Rose once said. More likely, these savages would have thrown the battery that cracked it.

As a former Penn State student (first time in almost a decade I can say I'm NOT a student there...), I have a ton of friends who are Philly fans. They defend the fanbase to the death about the above-mentioned incidents.

"Deion Sanders was doing some stupid rain-dance around Irvin while he was being tended to!"

"We're not the worst; we're the most PASSIONATE."

Some actually, seriously, unabashedly believe all that stuff and also say that they are no worse than other fanbases, they just get more attention for some reason.

It includes New video scoreboards in each end zone, each measuring 55 by 301 feet, making them the largest of their kind in the world. Major enhancements to EverBank Field’s video capabilities, new LED fascia board displays, two sideline boards, each measuring 3.6 by 579 feet, two displays in the Bud Light Party Deck and above the Terrace Suites in the South End Zone, each measuring 3.6 by 106 feet, two displays over tunnels, each measuring 6 by 22 feet, one display in the North End Zone measuring 10 by 400 feet, and a new scoreboard control room equipped with state-of-the-art software.

I could probably understand them getting mad about him wearing a hat with a division rival's logo and colors, but the Miami Dolphins aren't even in the same division with the 49ers, hell they aren't even in the same conference. And even then, it really doesn't matter. Fans have no right to decide what players wear.

Pats fans gave Brady a ton of shit one year because he was photographed wearing a Yankees hat. Seemed a little ridiculous at the time and it still does.

Even if putting on a Bronx bomber hat in the Boston area is a bit like coming into a church with a big upside down cross around your neck.

For some reason, New England Patriots players seem to be having problems with the law as of late:

Patriots defensive back Alfonzo Dennard was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in Nebraska early Thursday morning, Lincoln police confirmed.

According to a police report, Dennard was stopped just before 2 a.m. on Normal Boulevard after a Lincoln police sergeant observed a red Honda Accord straddling lane lines. The report says Dennard “emitted an odor of alcohol and displayed signs of impairment.”

After field sobriety tests were performed at the scene, he was taken to Cornhusker Place, a substance abuse treatment facility, for a breath test, but the report says he “would not provide an adequate breath sample for testing.”

what ever happened to the Cowboys? are they coming back one day? do they have the next troy aikmen yet? I was introduced to the NFL in the 90's and they were up the top and haven't really been sighted since as far as im aware i also live ina country that doesn't have every day coverage either. would love to go to a game one day though.

Try to prove it wrong, of course. But signing Romo to such an extension, in the way it was done, basically says they're stuck with him until at least 2015 or 2016 due to guarantees, and he's signed through 2018 or 2019. It's barely less than the contract given to Flacco, but with more guarantees. Difference between the two? Flacco won at least one playoff game per year, every year, including winning a Super Bowl last year. Romo won one playoff game in his life, and has played longer. He's proven nothing except having good stats in everything but the W column.

I hope you know he was joking.

The last ten or so years have been up and down for the Cowboys. In the early 2000's they were God awful. Since 2006 they've had their franchise quarterback who has been productive, but the team has only won one playoff game in that time span. The Cowboys, and their quarterback Tony Romo, have garnered a reputation for playing terrible when it matters most and usually melting down every single year. For whatever reason the entire team collapses every year towards the end.
