A TV anime adaptation of Negi Haruba's manga series "Go-Toubun no Hanayome" (The Five Wedded Brides) has been announced

Synopsis:
Fuutarou Uesugi is a poor, antisocial ace student who one day meets the rich transfer student Itsuki Nakano. They argue but when Uesugi realizes he is to be her tutor, he tries to get on better terms. While trying to do so he meets four other girls.

Fuu looks more handsome in the anime design.

Well, Fuu needed to be handsome for the girls to fall for him on top of him having a personality and not being an idiot. He is already an auto win for an MC.

The girls look great as well. Can I swoon over how lovely their designs are in the anime? Particularly Miku's (I don't care if you guys call me biased).

So far I don't have any complaints with 3 and 4, expecting 5 to flex on the rest.

Okay, with actual lines from the manga, they sound way better IMO. Ichika and Nino were one thing, but I found Itsuki too serious and deep actually with her Live2D lines, even if I have a hunch about why did they decide on that tone. It was still somewhat odd. Here, she sound softer, but the serious attitude is still there.

There are some QUALITY shots there, but it's still passable.

Skimmed through the first episode.

Somehow the experience I got was annoying AF. If I were an anime only, I sure as hell would think this is just your typical low quality harem series.

The next episode's preview has the first disguise of the series, and no hair color palette change or anything during the moment. *Sigh*

I thought this was a pretty good start to this anime.

I found it to be rather funny at times and can see there will be a lot of laughs in the future, good luck dealing with these 5 girls.

This first half of the episode pretty much spent its time ticking all the boxes of your typical harem anime. Loner student encounters a rich and gorgeous big boobed girl who ends up transferring to his class the same day. It also turns out she's the girl he's supposed to be tutoring!

Thankfully, there's a twist (yes, I know it's in the title so it's not really a twist) other than the girl being an alien/dragon/whatever. And it's a twist that's pretty unique as far as I'm aware: the love interests are quintuplets, and we're told from the start one of them is his future wife so that means the number of girls won't increase over the course of the series. 5 girls is reasonable, they should each get good development. It's also pretty rare for all girls to be introduced in the first episode. I thought they each got a good introduction, too. You can already roughly tell what they're like.

So yep, pretty good despite a cliché start.

How so? I didn't notice anything that indicated who it is. Hair color is obviously not reliable.

The first scene pretty much spoiled how is this going to end so the entire series will be different arcs focused on every girl as the usual cliche harem series. With that being said is enjoyable for what it is, Miku is my favorite, the designs are quite good but I feel like Fuutarou's design is like too handsome if we compare it to the one in the manga.

Now the animation was okay, nothing impressive or anything like that. Nino's voice was ugh so annoying, it doesn't fit her at all in my opinion. This one is not going to earn any awards or anything like that, predictable as fuck but funny enough to kill time.
