Just when I reconciderated about the game when I heard the story mode thing, I'm pushed away again for the fact that they're bringing old bosses as playables. Online gampley is pretty much screwed unless the bosses can only be played under limited conditions or totally unplayables for online.
Also, hell, the english voices are not only bad, the anouncer's voice is totally anoying. D:

I'm weak... I had an awful day so I bought my copy today
I haven't played DoA since the 2nd game on Dreamcast so it's kinda nostalgic. I have just played one hour : the game is very nice and dynamic. I'm a little disappointed with the 3D (boobs don't pop out ) but it's optional for this kind of game. I also tried online mode, there was a little lag but it may be explained that I used world research (I fought a japanese). There're also other minor but interesting things but I let you discover by yourself And don't worry : we can choose japanese voices with subtitles

Not totally sure on this but hasn't this always been the case with DoA games(pretty sure with all DoA games I bought anyway), I mean it's not exactly a big part of the game that would need taken out to make room for a english track now is it, even if it's on the DS.
I'm still wondering if I'll bother, tbh while I like beat em ups, they still don't rank highly on my want-to-have-o-meter. I would probably pick up a pre-owned copy at some point tho. Just realized that besides the Volleyball games, any other DoA game I had was 2nd hand. p.s I would have rather liked to have had a volley ball game in glorious 3D back to DoA: Paradise on the PSP!

I'm rather liking it so far. It's easily the best looking DOA so far in terms of character models, though the levels are certainly not the best. It's expected though, being a handheld. Gameplay handles well with the 3DS, so no complaints there.
I haven't received my free costume yet. Anyone else having problems with that?

So far everyone i've played against has used a different character, which is a good sign. Saying that, you don't have every character to start with, so that's probably why. Did you say it's released on the 24th for you?
