The silly thing is that most people don't know how big a fighterjet really is. I blame children's toys; where a toy jet is usually not much bigger than a toy truck.

In general a fighter jet is actually the size of a Gundam, except it is long rather than tall. This caused issues with the live action Transformers Starscream, who had to be deliberately shortened in order to not tower over Optimus Prime.

Why do the jets get to be measured head to tail but not the helicopters?

Makes the Japanese mech seem taller than the Russian mech. Cherno Alpha is 13 jets high, but Coyote Tango is 28 helecopters tall.

Boy that would create awkward moment since the other pilot will know everything there is about you. What you eat, how you sleep, what you think of that girl down the street, etc.

After linkup,

Suzie, "You didn't like that meatloaf I worked so hard to make for you last night!?"
