Episode 21 was a bit tame compared to some of the recent out of control episodes, which is nice now and then. Yet again Zastin was the one that stole the episode for me.

At least 21 didn't damage my sanity (such as it is) quite as much.... And I'll join the club, Damn Yami is cute like that

More Haruna please though! Haruna and Zastin are about the only reasons I keep watching this series.

Zastin's run as a mangaka and his run-in with the cops from the manga were left out - I thought those were some of his best gags.

At least the next episode - the school festival and the animal outfits - is definitely manga material, so I have better hopes for it.

Zastin as a cartoonist? (had to look up mangaka) Ah.... Too bad they left that out. It's sort of sad that the main characters are so..... uninteresting and that the gag characters are really the only ones worth watching.

What happened to this series? I really liked it at the beginning, has it just dragged on too long...?

Yes, I feel that it has dragged on for too long. I was worried ever since the start about whether they could keep the anime interesting for 26 episodes... and the result is that they can't. And what's more, they refuse to use manga material and try to come up with stuff, only making it worse because the anime material tend to be worse than the manga material... (In the first place, the manga overused jokes and wasn't exactly the funniest thing either...)

What the heck? Jewish aliens! XD (No, seriously! They were singing the "Mayim" song while doing their folk dance! [note: "mayim" is the Jewish word for water, and is the name of both a song and dance; it's sometimes referred to as "Mayim-mayim"] The dance was wrong, though. It's supposed to be done while holding hands in a circle, not a line.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time I've heard/seen Jewish stuff used for folk dances in an anime. In Jubei-chan II,

I don't really feel like any ecchi show should ever try to go for 2 cours. Ecchi is simple: Pantsu, breasts, guy accidentall falls on girl, etc. It's really just making variations on that. But, there's only so much you can do if that's all your basing it on. TLR really should've only been 13, because it's kind of getting bland right now... Same plots and stuff for a while.
Well, it's still stupid, so it's fun to sub, at least. XD

The end approaches, and despite the second half being a mixed bag, this was one of the better ones. Manga material was used...sort of. This was Saki's first appearance, if I remember. Though the best parts - the whipped cream bikini - were left out. Plenty of Yami, plenty of fanservice, and focus on the human/human alien cast this time around. It seems the episodes that don't have the Alien of the Week are generally better.

Character songs ("Daisuki Miikke!", "Skirt no Hajikko", "GOLDEN TRANCER") got used as insert songs, there was a cafe...usual stuff done in a TLR way, but at least it wasn't a bad week.

Normal... I guess. I guess it was a better episode than the last two episodes (that were horribly boring)...
Though besides one or two spots, the comedy wasn't funny or interesting...
The little Haruna and Yui moment was a bit nice though.

I was wondering what was the point of Yami popping up every so often looking for jobs, only to turn out that it all built up to her dressing up in an animal outfit.
I guess I kept myself from dozing by making comments in my head on the random no-name girls...

Yeah... The episode wasn't good, but then again, To Love-Ru hasn't even been mediocre lately... Try again next episode.
With so little episodes left, what do they plan to do?... I hope the ED doesn't end up meaning nothing...
