Kallen was captured; she isn't moving across the board. Also Kallen was already either a queen or other high-ranked piece. If any pawn is going to reach the other side of the board and suddenly become a queen to the shock of everyone, it's going to be Nunnally. It's been set up, with everyone lying to her and V.V. and Charles's own obsessions with lies. She's going to do something shocking before the end.

Fanboy mode off: Who would be the remaining pawns then? CC is also pretty much stuck midboard.

@Marsala: She is queen ever since the very first battle, hence Q-1.

Yeah, however C.C.'s character design was based partially on the queen piece, so there is a duality with Kallen being the queen on the battlefield and C.C. being the queen in the larger sense. The metaphor is not exact.

Well, she just got completely re-designed and she is right know a pretty useless strategy-wise queen piece. And I never realized CC was designed based on the queen...

If the old C.C. is permanatly gone then:

If the old one some how resurface then:

LULUxKallen

Any is fine since i dont care anymnore because it used to be:

Being captured could be seen as being deep within enemy territory, or the other side of the board.
In some ways she's already the queen. She is often called Q-1. The queen on the board is the most powerful and effective fighters. That sounds like Kallen.

I doubt the old C.C. is completely gone. They still haven't answered the question about C.C.'s conversations with Marianne. I wonder that even thought her 'code' is gone if she could still hear them.

I thought the intelligence stat was in terms of strategy/politics? 'Cause, yeah, Kallen isn't too great with strategy, but she isn't stupid, considering her grades at Ashford.

And anyway, if you honestly want a pairing where the other half equals Lelouch's intelligence, you're going to have a yaoi or incestuous pairing, aren't you? (Schneizel, XingKe, possibly Charles...)

she's smarter then either sherly or euphie and lulu admited that he loved both (after they died)
he doesnt need a woman who matches his brain
he needs one would support him (from the looks of things hes about to lose everything he has)

Actually i would say he needs a reason to stop himself from self-destructing rather than a person.

The last time he worked for a person(Nunnally) he was headed down the road to hell.

When he changed after EP 7 he mellowed out a lot and had a pleasant change of character.

yes and once he lost one of the new reasons he had to fight (sherly) he went crazy and masscared lots and lots of people

You will notice that Kallen is the only of the main girls Lelouch hasn't kissed yet. Several times they have come close. That time when she caught him with Refrain. Lelouch would of chased after her if Rolo hadn't shown up. I remember Kallen looked disappointed he didn't follow.
Only a few episodes later she fell on top of him and their lips were sooo close. I did notice that Kallen didn't seem in any hurry to climb off of him.

Kallen has admitted that she hasn't had her first kiss yet.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Kallen is the one who rescues Nunnally out of Japan. Unlikely, I know.

I have watched(&read the manga) berserk and Guts/Gatts was far more enjoyable when he was an evil bastard.

If Lulu lived for a person and said person dies then that just leads to another shitstorm like EP 14.

If he lives for a reason i.e. fight for the weak he atleast avoids that pitfall.

Now don't get me wrong i agree with what you say but in lulu's case he has been shown to lash out uncontrollably when someone is taken away from him.

Well so far, the one who actually have a place, even though for a bit, in Lelouch's heart will be Shirley. She's dead, so LuluxShirley is definitely off.

Lelouch and Kallen's relationship still look like that of a leader-comrade thingy to me. Though at one point he did tell Kallen that they'll return together to Ashford. So, LuluxKallen has hints.

Lelouch and C.C. relationship is somewhat fuzzy.

Lelouch has NEVER loved C.C. before. Though he asked her to keep living many times before, I believe that's a form of caring between a comrade and comrade.

But, notice in ep. 15, the other C.C. and Lelouch talked with each other...

"She must've been a very important person, no?"

"No way."

"Is that so? For you to have been sent here must mean that she want to protect you from something, even for a short moment."

----then Lelouch went to a sudden state of realization before the scene changed----

Now, going on to the saving C.C. part. I don't see any love love hints there.

Going on to the last part.

As the original C.C. explained Lelouch about her skills (you know what), Lelouch went to a sudden state of shock. Not to mention his pupils shook as C.C. talked.

Now, I can't say that there's a lovey dovey thing going on, but this definitely boost the possibilities.

Say, if C.C. memories were to return, I'm sure that won't be another hindrance. I'm also sure that that won't stop her from smiling a genuine smile.

Hence...

LuluxKallen------------ has hints. But really doubtful, remembering the power-up LuluxC.C. had in ep. 15

LuluxC.C.---------------has hints as well. Somewhat unclear for Taniguchi (can't spell) put some gigantic cliffhanger in the end of ep. 15. A long lasting cliffhanger, I may say.

LuluxShirley-----------Guys, we all agree that this one is over already.

LuluxKaguya----------I can't see the reasons for him to love Kaguya. Since Kaguya is so agressive about theis relationship, I might say that:

Kaguya will rape Zero for sure (only if she can)

LuluxNunnaly--------I don't know. But I'm sure I hate incest.

Luluxharem-----------This definitely won't happen. Try to think about it.

I'll still believe kallen and Lulu will end up together in the end with ChiChi living together with them, well if she doesn't but the farm or regain her memories later, as an adopted daughter/sister. She still gets to be loved albeit a familal love as opposed to romantically.

Really there is still plenty of room left for more romantic devolpment for either of the 2. One good twist is all you need to make or break it.
