Well, it finally snowed on January 2nd, and it stayed like that since. It's all white, beautiful, and it's much warmer, like without any snow, but it came too late. Not to mention that snowball fights IN the classroom is one thing I hate the most.

The US snowy climate must be changing...the forecasts stay terrible, something to the tone of 4-6 inches where I live, yet the next morning all I see is a clear sky and a 3cm light layer of half-melted snow on the ground. Nothing seems to accumulate anymore since 4 years ago.

Germany, probobly last day of snow, since we had 5°C for now and tomorrow, probobly 6 - 7°C.
In west, we had much snow and the streets werent free so everyone had to be special careful while driving. The last time, we had this much snow was round about 10 years ago. I personal prefer sommer with warm to hot temperatures but to see the snow, that changed the whole scene was beautiful.

God I wish we had some snow right now to cool it all down. It was 30 C today and we're heading for 40 C at the weekend.
And I don't have air con. That being said. My only real memories of snow from when I lived in the states was a day or two off school and breaking my back shoveling that damn driveway. |

There is a snow thread, which this'll prob get merged with, but yeah. London gets the most in 18 years and I'm not home to enjoy the national holiday T_T
(as in all buses were cancelled, planes grounded, trains suspended, most schools nationwide closed, most pple stayed home on monday as public transport was shot to hell.) London in white Brits get creative with the snow In pictures, tho there are tons of them. I gotta say London can be quite beautiful in white

The snow has returned to the United Kingdom, and England is experiencing its most worst (and very much affecting) blizzard since 18 years ago.
To be honest though I disagree. The blizzard that the U.K had five years ago was a lot worse than this one, ..is my personal opinion. |
