This has got to be the most impersonal, zaniest forum thread ever. And as such warrants an equally impersonal and zany post from yours truly.

Guido: I hail Guido, a veteran member of the AnimeSuki forums, and I like your threads about anime cross-overs of Top Cow Comics character. But man I really wanted to say something about your avatar... From the short time I get to know you from reading your posts, you deserve something bolder than that meek looking shoujo peering from behind an ajar door. (P.S. Sorry no idea who she is.) 5/10

Catgirls: I know I am probably going to be flame bait after commenting on the person who opened this thread, but the only catgirl for me is Felicia of Darkstalkers. SHE is SACRED. To me, any other catgirl is a kawaii, moe, bi-shoujo perversion, made in order to make a product more appealing to the Japanese and people who just love bi-shoujos. They are just sacrilegous adaptations of what should have been a mythical supernatural creature. 4/10 2/10 IF YOU ACTUALLY used a CAT-GUY, or similar feral-eared guy, as your avatar. (Inuyasha is good, but the lead guy Inuyasha will always freak me out.)

Tabris: Goodness. Stick-men and similar fictional characters rendered with primitive shapes like circles and simple curves were what we used to draw when we were toddlers, when our notion of violence is nothing more than what we see on old Warner Bros shows. South Park is bad enough in warping the classic frame-by-frame animation into a toilet-humour satire (but an undoubtedly good one), but warping any work of art more primitive than that like the one you have as your avatar (a couple of circular-bodied individuals punching each other till they bleed) is just tasteless and disturbing (at least to me). 3/10

And now, the highlight of my post...:

Gelugon2105: Being a member of Anime-Suki, a forum for anime buffs and otakus, I know that having a shrinked mug-shot of a PC game character is just plain glaring. The cyborg assassin, Mercury, of Tribes: Vengeance, is one of the coolest, toughest characters in that FPS game. Unfortunately, the only part of his body that is not cool is his helmet; I didn't notice this since the game is an FPS after all and I am too busy knocking off enemies and listening to his ka-koe robotic comments about killing efficiency and damage sustained. However, I couldn't use pics of his feet and torso for my avatar, can't I? That's just plain dorky. I had wanted to use him for a long time, but most of the sites that host the online communities I am in just can't seem to accept the pic. SO here it is. I plan to change it when I get to know a better looking PC game character -- I mean anime character. 2/10 0/10 IF I had used his feet and torso pics instead.

Let's see you do a better job at cleaning pre-Platinum Edition Neon Genesis Evangelion DVD footage with free programs. Those DVDs are damn near impossible to clean up.

Gelugon: You're right, your avatar does suck. I recommend VirtualDubMod to take a clip from an anime and turn it into a bunch of images and PhotoPlus to turn those images into an animated gif. D

You could at least slow it down or make the animation move smoother.
And no I don't clean up old anime dvds to make gifs. I do something much harder. I draw all my avatars myself thank you very much. As you put it: Let's see you do that.

cyz ~ its a bad loop imo...she seems to stop halfway while tilting which makes her hair look stiff...7/10

raidster ~ yea like cyz sed its a bit to fast...also it feels too "stiff" or static when she closes her eyes...not bad for a first try tho
