Comes to mind Yusuke Urameshi in the last Arc of YuYu Hakusho, Goku didn't win the Tenkaichi Budokai Tournament until his 3rd try, Ash Ketchum NEVER managed to win any game-canonical league(he only ends up champion in filler arcs), and so on... I gues it comes with the "i still have a lot to learn" feeling which makes sense for Vivio and the girls since they're powerfull but still unexperienced amateurs.

It would've been too fast if they'd do that now, to be honest. We've barely been introduced to many of these characters, having them all just be throwaway characters would be a waste. Besides, our cast was explicitly told they'd have trouble even getting as far as they have.
Now the big kicker for me is how will Einhart's next match go? Smashing defeat? Close call but defeated? Miraculous win? I'd hope the first, Einhart needs a good loss that actually matters emotionally. |

I figured something was wrong with Vivio. Clone degradation is the obvious choice, but we'll see. There ARE reasons why cloning is forbidden in the Bureau, after all. However, Fate and Erio seem just fine, so who knows?
This could lead to Einhart being motivated enough to really try hard and win the tournament, but I thought this was Vivio's story. Oh, and I don't see a problem with Miura winning because of this, but I get the feeling she'll have the attitude of "I won because something is wrong with Vivio? I don't feel comfortable with that kind of a win. I want a rematch when Vivio is all better." And then Vivio may urge her to continue anyway. |

It's just like S1 is about Fate and A's is about Hayate, while Nanoha is merely pushing the cart. It really looks like Vivid is sticking to the "main characters aren't really the main characters" line of thinking. But yeah, clone degradation. Blegh. |

Clone degradation would be stupid, though. Why is it only happening now? Why are Fate and the Numbers just fine?
I think there might be a wild card slot. Vivio will fight in a loser bracket and win her way back into the main tournament.

Probably has something to do with her Adult Form most likely. Remember that Einhalt saw the memories of er... I don't remember the name, BUT, it looks like Vivio's starting to have the same reaction as well.
