During the big fight of the episode, there plays the same song that was first played with the Bounto arc. The classical song. The start of the song keeps on reminding me of some other well-known classical piece but I can't remember which. Would anyone care to help me on this one?

A lot of the Bounto arc songs remind me of music from the Castlevania game series.

I liked this episode, but I wish it would have had the whole Kira vs. Kifune fight instead of splitting it into two episodes.

I just hope it don't end lame, like Kifunes riatsu eating weapon thingy absorbing him like it did all the other henchmen. If Kira or someone doesn't get a chance to finish him before that happens I'm gonna be pissed.

Pretty decent episode for a filler. Kifune needs to be taken out already he annoys the sh*t out of me. I was like "GOT HIMMM" when Kira used that Kido shot. Ummm why didn't Kifune clothes catch on fire after that attack or when he was standing in it? lol And the old fart needs to get his (_o_) off that seat already. He is one lazy commander. Swing that sword DO SOMETHING

sounds like bakkoto's can also enhance the abilities of zanpaktou as well, warranting is isn't in the form of a weapon like the others.

The Kasumi-Ouji arc has not entered the climax yet, so the conclusion to the filler won't be due until the end of the season in October.

I just hope that neither Ichigo nor anybody else steps into the ring to help Kira.

This is his match, and a method to properly explore and focus upon his insecurities and frailty as a character.

Moreover, Kifune's reasons for becoming strong are as very lame, than the clichéd bad guy motives like world domination or fathering a new world order.

October? Seriously?

I wonder if they will just focus on Amagai after they resolve the Kasumi-Ouji stuff.

Also, I hope Kira gets to defeat Kifune on his own, too.

I heard 188 is the ending ep for the arc...so October seems logical lol...I guess no one is mentioning that Amagai defeated Kenpachi during the Captains test...Kenpachi said he got tricked by the Old Man...whether that means Yama-jii or Amagai I do not know...but something is going on...and if he meant Yama-jii, what trick could it be? There must be something about Amagai...or if Amagai tricked him then Amagai is one hell of an opponent. Either way hopefully Kira will find his Bankai..otherwise he will have to be saved by Ichi or Amagai
