Takuzou Nagano, who is this show's version of Yun Kouga, is also Level 5's character designer... So the retro character designs are completely influenced by Level 5, not just partially. It seems Sunrise wants this to be a Gundam version of Inazuma Eleven.

Thank goddam, if it was another gundam TV series with girly character design i would smear crap all over bandai/sunrise's HQ building. Small interview with Akihiro Hino, and how level 5 became part of the project. (source www.andriasang.com original source famitsu) Last edited by Sides; 2011-06-15 at 05:08. |

I must say this place and one other forum are kinda peaceful toward Gundam AGE. Most of other places it's a shitstorm if you ask me. The reaction is even worst than what we have after GSD.

Also, we ignore trolls on a daily basis.
Keeps the boards healthy when the admins comes in and wash them away. On-Topic, I'm going to follow this Gundam show, gonna need to watch Episode 1 before I can say anything more

The animation quality looks pretty solid from the preview, which is to be expected. I'm not entirely loving the support characters, but everything else looks good [and did I spy AGE-1 making a Seed-pose?]. I'll definitely be following this as it comes out.
I'm wondering, though. Is the same core Gundam going to be retained throughout? Even with a learning computer and add-on equipment, the basic technology of the thing's going to be pretty old once the grandson gets it. Three human generations is a long time in terms of mechanical design, after all. So is AGE-1 and its gear just the first guy's suit, and it's simply the learning computer that'll be passed down? It'd be odd if they skipped the usual 'Mid-Season Upgrade', after all.

I guess it's still your usually course, 50 episodes. Don't forget there is still another one waiting for being revealed.
Which one? If you're talking about GSD, then this board with various thread regarding GS/GSD (like that infamous Lacus thread) is already enough. If you want to know regarding AGE, well, some blogs that its name escapes me at the moment, and the worst places of them all, are 4chan/2ch. Heck, did you see that PV's rating?
