There's no need for replacement, if there's compromise.

Yui, Yuuya & Inia can just live together, and be a family that way.

To Yuuya, it would be life with 2 siblings.
To Yui, it would be her fantasy.
To Inia, it would be her supplements.

That's... actually kinda sweet. All three of them have just been through a devastating war, lost people precious to them and have lived through the same events so they're probably going to have the same nightmares.

It suits the war drama theme quite well I think: not exactly the perfect solution and maybe even a little dysfunctional, but it's they're making the best of what they have.

No, he wasn't.

He only becomes Royal Guard after Ikaruga apparently pick him up during the TDA, at which point...Takeru might not all be there.

Also, that idea is sweet, in non-romantic, WAFF-y kinda way.

I really doubt that Yuuya would survive showdown with such monstrosity as Fort-Laser Class, which also surrounded with hordes of lux and magnus lux. IMHO Yuuya would go down in a blaze of glory and then reunited with his beloved Cryska in afterlife (read Extra-verse).

Well, the characters draw too much similarities from the original trilogy for me to be that happy.

Yuuya = Takeru = Bratty Savior who grows up to do the right thing, losing their loved ones in the end.

Cryska = Sumika = Love interest who finally found pure love, only to die from lack of LCL. Dies in lover's arms.

Inia = Kasumi = Esper who connects and links the lovers and brings them together (Sumika in Tube, Cryska by proxy). Ends up surviving with the guy.

Yui = Meiya = Yamato Nadeshiko who grows to love the guy, only to get the short stick in the end. At least Yui wasn't tied to the end of the railgun at the end though.

And Yui X Ikaruga end is already confirmed in TDA02... someone was giving a briefing on the railgun wearing yellow...

Personally, given the amount of rage that has been flying around (which is far, far too much given the hints we've had), I'm going to assume Kouki, or someone from age, did all of this on purpose, just to rile up the crowd. Everyone wanted despair and they got it, just not in the way they expected.

So yeah Oomoto's an idiot. When they build the Shiranui Second Phase 3 it seems as though they mighta been using external parts like the armor or whatever from THE Black Widow II because Yuuya is taken to a top secret hangar where he's shown a Black Widow II with the armor stripped. Weren't the two YF-23s mothballed and sent to museums? It's a mystery~ The refueling system that Heinemann bullshitted the CIA about not putting in the Shiranui Second Phase 3 apprently lets it refuel or restore power straight from other TSFs or something. When Yuuya fights and beats Sandek, this is when Sandek drops the bomb about Cryska needing her meds every now and again to not die, and if Yuuya takes her away she'll drop dead in 5-10 days. He also talks about how Inia and Kryska are related to his sister somehow (Cryska and other mass produced espers are probably clones of her or at least genetically based on her or something). Sandek asks Cryska to see if she can read him to see if he's lying but her limiter is like Kagami's ribbon and stops her from doing that (if she takes it off she reads everyone around her uncontrollably like Mao from Geass and that drove previous espers nuts like Mao from Geass). When Yuuya is being chased by everyone on base this is also when the base commander talks about a phoenix from Europe who is working for the fox from Yokohama who is also chasing them (you should be able to solve this). The assumption they have to officially take when going after Yuuya for attacking the Russians and kidnapping the poor girls is that he's a terrorist remnant. When Yui was shot the DIA showed up to investigate and put all of the Argos squad under questioning because they may be terrorists (also it turns out VG was sleeping with Natalie as well as a whole bunch of other terrorists). Cryska actually failed to contact Inia psychically when Inia showed up with Martika in a pod in a Berkut to kill them. Martika just stopped Inia on her own. Also she begged Cryska to shoot her. She didn't want Yuuya to see her like this. Those pods are too small for full humans to fit inside... (by the way she was in love with Yuuya too because lolPrafka even though she had like five minutes of screen time altogether and exchanged like two lines of dialogue with him (which were basically "fuck off and get away from Inia") Yui was actively watching Yuuya fly off into the distance while she sat there and monologued about how Yuuya has made his choice like papa. Inia really likes the pretty colors (white darkness or something) of Yuuya's shitty childhood, her second favorite is the pretty colors of Yui's past traumas. As Yuuya comes to terms with his past throughout the earlier parts of the game she remarked that he was going further away. The base commander at Kamchatka who is hiding Latrova and the surviving Zhar Batallion (who have a new batallion name now) was once screwed over by good old Comrade Rogovsky. He's keeping them as insurance. The Berkut espers who were fighting at Hive 26 were under the command of Comrade Rogovsky. When they go berserk the scientist dude with him (Belyayev) goes nuts and throws chairs around because he has no idea what is going on. When the Laser Fort entered the battlefield it showed itself by digging its way out of the ground with its lasers. That totally makes more sense than just walking out of a Gate or something. Apparently the Laser Fort was not only jamming all transmissions with that storm cloud, it was actively intercepting and attempting to read/listen in on/whatever their communications. The Laser Fort was also capable of seizing control of all the other lasers on the battlefield and have them ignore the anti laser shells and stuff and focus on shooting what it wants them to shoot. Like A-01 and their spaceships. The Russians who blew themselves up to clear the way for Zhar to attack the Laser Fort was kind of a big deal to those Georgian/Chechen/etc. kids because they were previously pretty buttpained about being used as cannon fodder for the Great Russians. Of course they get shot by the Laser Fort anyway. The esper Berkuts previously had red auras, but the whole Zeta Gundam thing made the aura turn blue.
