Guys, need some help here. There this anime of which name, characters I have forgotten completely. All I remember is

: They're in a truck down a track in the middle of forest with heavy fogs
: They arrive at a mysterious mansion that is almost deserted/empty
: They found something in a room in the mansion, some event have.

I'll try to think about it and provide more details if possible. Thanks for any hint that may help !

Here's an old anime I want help identifying.

I remember watching this mecha anime a long time ago, some 8+ years back on a chinese channel (so ofc it was dubbed into chinese).

From what I can remember there is this kid who finds this mecha and pilots it to fight evil (such a classic theme). It's follows an adventure plot but I remember there is this one arc where he enters a tournament against other robots. At some point he is defeated or gets his mecha badly damaged but then it evolves. Literally, I think the mecha was "alive" as well...well the new version had some golden armor on and a shiny new sword. I can't quite remember much from that but it's a nostalgic series so I want to find it And I think the kid pilots the mech sticking his hands into orbs or something (maybe, but it certainly wasn't joysticks).

Edit: just to add more detail, the mecha before it evolves was mostly gray and has a giant circular ruby red orb on it's chest where the pilot enters.

Edit2: And the noob has found it by luck...Yamato Takeru...and such an obscure series >_<

1. Has character designs that look really, really similar to Spriggan, but it isn't Spriggan. It looks like a much more modern series (Spriggan is an older anime movie)
3. Not sure what it is, but it doesn't look like a Gundam series.

I can also verify that 6 is Last Exile, and can highly recommend it.

It was an anime they had on adult swim for a while, i'll try to describe it as best i can

Protagonist (male) who lives on an island separated from rest of the world. Everyone has this "power" that they can summon in order to fight each other. his power was a fist attack and when he summoned it there would be 3 spines (on his back or shoulder i think) then there was also this policing agent that had similar powers and they had a main character as well. and they try to capture the protagonist. If i recall he had a little sister and a best friend he was always trying to protect and his friend had a weird go-kart...

at the end the main police guy and the protaganist join forces to defeat the most evil of all powers

i've already seen most the episodes on adult swim, i would just like to own them as well. thanks
