Right now he is refering to Mamori.

Because we don't get to see some of Suzuna and her crush on Sena on to later on on the manga.

How can they end the anime with this?! I was very disappointed with this anime's ending. 145 is the last episode and that's it.

I wanted to see the finals go through at least...

I can't believe they ended it and didn't even show the Christmas bowl. I only got to the beginning of the game with Shinryuji but it doesn't seem worth it to keep watching now.

I have just finished the last episode of Eyeshield21 - aka the 145th Episode... I was like... what is this?! Why are they ending it here? and Yes, why can't they continue to show till the Xmas Bowl?

Even though, i heard that the manga will be ending soon - given by the pace they are at now - but there can still be enough filler or material for them to continue on?

Oh manz, hope I can only hope that there will be OVAs.

Can anyone answer me, why the anime stopped before the xmas-bowl?
Please,somebody answer, cause i dont get it why did we watch the anime, the main thing was winning the xmas-bowl. if you cut all the scenes in the anime when they speak about getting stronger, and how this is their last chance to go to xmas-bowl (remember the episode when they lost from gunmens) you could make a at least 2 hours tape. did something came up and the anime is cancelled from airing or what, i really dont get it...

Welcome to anime my friend, where many of the animated works fail to ever end the created series properly...The reason for this is something called manga...You see in Japan many consider manga superior to anime, so sometimes animes are made with the specific purpose of getting people to continue the story via the manga (or it simply catches up to the manga too quickly)...Therefore Eyesheild 21's purpose of not ending it with X-Mas bowl is very likely because they want you to get the manga and experience it that way...That's not to say that perhaps someday they won't animate it, but you're screwed for now...

I too recently finished E21 a little over a month ago, but my anime intuition formed from years and years of watching stuff let me know early on that the Ojo-Knights would be the endgame for the anime...It was a damn good game too^^, but if you wanna see more you're gonna have to turn the page....

FYI:

Sentai Filmworks (formerly ADV Films) has announced they've licensed Eyeshield 21 for DVD release.

The first part (13 episodes judging by runtime) of the series is available as a DVD set in on May 18, 2010 for $49.95 MSRP (usually available online for less).

So, how much is for sale currently? Has more than the first 13 been subbed yet?

Also, even if the entire 2005-2008 anime has been licensed, there was a 30 minute anime film of Eyeshield produced in 2004 (a pilot, perhaps?).

Has this precursor been licensed too? Will it be available?

If not, I propose that perhaps the tracker could list this? It could generate interest in the subsequent continuous anime series.

it will be cool if they remake the series because the manga has already finished, i hope BONES studio pick this up and give it some quality animation like what they did with FMA Brotherhood that is also a remake

the animation of Artland and NAS on Eyeshield 21 is bad, so im wishing for BONES because most BONES animation are better than Artland or NAS, but ye i can only hope
