Well of course I know baka tsuki.

but I was hoping for a more "advanced" translation site D:

so if there isnt any other place... well damn, thanks anyway

and I dont want to google

if I google it, they know what I'm looking for and they might use this information against me.

Sadly, there aren't other groups who have more advanced translations.
Yeah, it's a shame, I know.
I'm sure many can read it, but the TAMnI light novel is considered the nightmare of translators, so yeah...
Imagine you would be fluent in Japanese, the question is if you can show enough determination to go through the hassle of translating it (what every translator basically goes through), because it's not something you do for yourself in the first place, but for others.

If I knew Japanese, I'd actually love to translate... but then again I could just think that way right now because I can't read Japanese. Hope that's not the case at any rate.

To me, Shana is a whole lot harder to translate than Index.

Btw, seems like I'm married to the job. Will be working on Vol 9 now.

thanks for it. I'm waiting eagerly for vol 9. Reading raws is hard.

Yahoo vol 09.

btw why was shana harder than index? I find that index is more troublesome to understand than shana though so why?

Understanding is one thing, translating it is another... I really hate translating descriptive words, and also, Shana has a lot of terminologies that can't be checked online, but Index uses several real world references, so it's kind of easier for me

Btw, will be uploading 10% of vol 9 in two hours time. Had to run to 13 different websites to proofread. Got three different versions for some reason (didn't they release them in a book? why so many differences?), so the progress for Vol 9 will likely be slower than Vol 7.

EDITS: Need to read through all three different versions now. So many differences out there, so yeah, the progress will be slower.

You mean like Saten Ruiko when she used Level Upper, but at Level 4?

I don't think Saten Ruiko's temporary ability is confirmed with a solid name.

yap. Saten could end with telekinesis for all we know. But in most gag and omake they tried to use wind. But its not limited to physical touch. She tried to use it to summon divine wind from below to blow away the skirt of uiharu.

But she did manipulate wind, didn't she?

Admittedly, I have not seen them myself, but from what I hear all Uiharu's gags focused on her controlling those plants on her head.

I'm not saying Satens power isn't wind based, but i wouldn't take anything shown in the omake to be true at all.

I wouln't speculate from or use omakes for proof about anything, basically.

well I don't much trust the anime as well. For all I know they are always pointing on the plants but suddenly her powers are to make things stay on constant temperature.

Constant temperature==>greenhouse effect?==>Xtra CO2==>What's with that plant growth?

Think you can trust the anime though, Tsunade, it's canon after all, not filler.

Just keeping the temperature constant can't explain the living flowers on Uiharu's head, but if her power would be something more general that is violating the second law of thermodynamics, then it can explain it.
