Pity him? Far from it, he deserved everything he got. A wise man once said, "When you trample people underfoot, you're teaching them what to do to you." He trampled Satellizer and Holly underfoot, and it bit him right back. Hard.

I'd say she was saving Holly more than Louis. At least the former realized her folly, something Louis could not. She realized their bond was nothing compared to the one forged by Kazuya and Satellizer, and instantly knew she didn't deserve to win. And since Louis denied her last request, she was prepared to die with him. Melodramatic, definitely, but Louis brought it on himself when he lost touch with reality. This chapter demonstrated he's nothing more than a boy in a man's world, and if he doesn't straighten up, he won't receive any mercy next time. But we'll find out in the next chapter whether he's learned anything from his defeat. Until then...

He seemed kinda nice how they were getting along in school but it didnt really explain why he started to resent stella. Was it cuz she rejected him?

He deserved all that anyways. Why the hell would stella be crazy nuff to save him though. Watdurfak

What bothers me is not the ending - I don't mind some redemption. He wasn't always a monster, and maybe he doesn't have to stay one forever either. It's how quick and relatively painless it was. And how little assurance we have that he isn't still a little prick using his family name to trample over everyone. Yeah, there's some possibility he's learned not to do it to people who can and will run him through with a sword. But that's not enough.

We won't see the baptism until we move away from Pandora vs Pandoras to more Pandora vs Novas. Aoi's freezing is too overpowered in Pandora battles if he was able to use it more effictively.
