ok, for all you ppl bitching about there only being 24 eps, and that the show doesnt go anywhere...of COURSE it's NOT gonn ago anywhere, the original creator DIED BEFORE he could complete the story, so NO ONE knows what happens Between Abel and Cain. So Stop moaning about something that cant be fixed...

Basically the series is about father nightroad (the main man) and the girl he saves in the firs episode fighting evil.

Even though Abel Nightroad is in fact the incarnation of evil or rather was but his girlfriend died before the series and he spent the best part of a millenium weeping by her side in the vatican)

Except Basically the series is about Father Abel Nightroad and the Blonde girl from the Vatican. The girl from the first episode is never seen again.

People are moaning because the story was sooo friggin good, the characters were so well defined and it was all just soo darn good that we WANT to know what happens in the end. I'm sure no one really knows what happened between Cain or Abel, but darn man, the Anime Producers could've made an original ending that was atleast alittle better than what they did

Lillith is not Abel's girlfriend, but more so a mother figure to him, Seth and Cain.

And I agree about the ending. It is one of my favorite series, but I think there was much more to explore in the series that wasn't included.

Well you are half right. Most of the series was indeed written by the creator, Sunao Yoshida, and he was poised to be a huge force in the anime. However, he tragically passed away of a lung blockage before the Trinity Blood Series began production. According to what I have read, he had completed the Rage Against the Moons arc of the novels and had started work on Reborn on the Mars. Below are listed the volumes of the novels on which the Trinity Blood Series was based.

Rage Against the Moons Vol 1 - From the Empire - Ep 11
Rage Against the Moons Vol 2 - Silent Noise - Ep 8-10
Reborn on the Mars Vol 1 - Star of Sorrow - Ep 3 & 4
Reborn on the Mars Vol 2 - Ibelis - Ep 12-14
Reborn on the Mars Vol 3 - The Night Lords - Ep 15-19 (to be released in the US)

If my guess is correct, The Crown of Thorns and The Throne of Roses arc could possibly be two of the other volumes. As to which two I can't guess. Which would technically mean that seven of the novels have been animated, leaving another five that have yet to be. It would most likely be the decision of Kentaro Yusui, who finished the writing of the Trinity Blood series and was a good friend of
Yoshida, as to more of the series would be animated. Personally, I think the series stood alone as a great anime, and I would rather maybe see it adapted to live action on a channel like Sci Fi or BBC, rather then have a second series made that would lack a plot as good as the orginal.

The animation is good but the character development is poor,and i dont like the fact that the storyline concentrates too much on something for a few episodes and totally ignoring other characters.It may have a wtf ending but at the very least everyone is okay.It has been quite some time now,will GONZO still make season 2?

As of yet, Gonzo has yet to make an announcement for Trinity Blood Season 2. My only concern would be that it would not be as good as the original .

True a second season wouldn't be as good since we hava seen all of the first season which means we have our expectations but when others see the 2 seasons *assuming that a second season is made* for the first time they won't be able to tell the difference which is going to really heat up the forums around the world

Hey sorry for the necromancy, but I was wondering if someone could explain something to me from the novels I saw on Wikipedia.

First question is, On wiki, it said that AX gets disbanded, and that Caterina and Tres both go and join the Order of Rosenkreuz.. um, what? I dunno, but just because her brother disbanded her group does she lose it that baddly enough to go "Well screw you guys I'm gona go play with someone else"? Wouldn't it have made more sense for her to go to the Empire? /confusticated

Second is, I saw somewhere that Seth (along with one or two other main characters, other then noelle) supposedly dies in the novels? say it aint so, shes cool.
