Alto didn't just lose his plane, he did that to save Lucca's so it's quits. If Alto saved his plane, Lucca might have been killed and Lucca's Valk would be gone too. If he saved Lucca's Valk, he saved both Lucca and saved one plane, though not his. I say it should not go against his record.

Okay, so the Vajra adapted to nukes by shedding their skin. So... why not hit them again? They can't have too many layers, and even if they can do some kind of instant regeneration, it would have to consume a huge amount of energy. They couldn't keep it up for very long.

Alto's had more parts blown off his Valkyrie than just about anyone else so far - Ozma lost one nacelle of his armor pack in 17, but ejected the rest and fought on. Alto keeps blowing off Super Packs, Armor Packs, and also loses a lot of his Valkyrie on a regular basis, on top of getting shot or forced down. Oh, and Brera had to rescue him the last few times. Good thing Mr. Bilrer likes him - I'd hate to see the bill Alto's run up for repairs. |

Macross Frontier is set at 2059. Almost 20 years after Shinsei Industry won the contract with the VF-19. As can be observed with Macross 7 fleet's Emerald squadron (VF-19F and VF-19S) and Zola Galaxy Patrol (VF-19P). Elite squadrons such as the one on the carrier Vahalla III (VFX) and VFX Ravens squadron of the Saratoga II utilize VF-19A Valkyries. But it seems during 2047 colony fleets like Macross 7 opted the VF-17 as their mainline fighter while elite squadrons use the VF-22. I think General Galaxy made the VF-17 cheaper and developed its successor the VF-171. The VF-171 doesn't appear to have the beam weapon attachment for the gunpod like the VF-17. If they did Frontier NUNS wouldn't need Brera and his Antares squadron. Frontier NUNS has shown themselves as capable as the local SMS but for a bunch of cyborg foreigners to upstage them well.. The thing is before Isamu Dyson got exiled as a test pilot at New Edwards on Eden for project Supernova the YF-19 test pilots were either killed or maimed. Meaning it was too high performance that it needed an ace level pilot. Not everybody is an ace pilot. Not to mention how much a VF-19 cost. I feel sorry for Ray and Operation M as they will have to pay for the VF-19P Basara "rented" from Zola Galaxy Patrol. |

I believe they were discussing about a new variant weapon based on what they've learned from the Vajra's biology.
Which makes sense, find out what makes it tick and use it against them. Because Aimo Aimo is useless unless they have some weapon that can kill the Vajra and I'm beginning to suspect that they are going to grow immune to Ranka's singing (Or get used to it to the point that they don't just go wild when she starts singing). |

Get just enough music recorded, plus song energy (or however that was suppose to work in Macross 7)...add a Sharon Apple style computer program....Song Bomb = no need for Ranka or Sheryl.
