Yeah, I kind of noticed that, after I posted, as well.
But that doesn't mean she hadn't become stronger, considering the fact that Ruby changed the object, which she uses to channel her magic powers.
After all, Ruby hasn't got a lot of occasions, where she could demonstrate how strong she currently is.
Spoiler:
Not saying shes not. Ruby has always been one of my favorite characters in this series and honestly I tend to think that Ruby is one of the most powerful characters next to Inner Moka and now Tsukane.
So there are 7 of our heros and 6 opponents, looks like itle be Hokuto to deal with Miyabi rather than him and Tsukune battling eachother, Tsukune is Akua's opponent afterall.

Spoiler for 44:
Except for the fact that Tsukune and Miyabi still need to have a rematch, after their encounter in the Yuki Onna village, and I don't think that there would be another opportunity to do that, except in the current arc.
Considering the fact that Ikeda likes to foreshadow future events, I don't think that the battle between Tsukune and Miyabi is going to be skipped, by having someone else then Tsukune, fight against him.
Oh my Ruby can certainly be scary with her S&M flavor .
As for a few important notes: Doesn't it look like Gyorku's interest has been a little bit sparked when she thinks of Tsukune's name on page 18 ? Nice as she is, she says "It's as I thought ... In that case, it's unavoidable As a single mother, I/we (we might be better due to the shadows of her harem on the next page) should welcome this important man who wants to take back Moka."
Miyabi spills the beans about his previous encouter with Tsukune-tachi. "The "destined man" who usually removes Moka's Rosary"
Gyokuro is starting to expect a traitor within them, but after a showdown of stares betwen Miyabi and her, I think he was ruled out .
The reason why i don't really see a match between Tsukune and Miyabi, because he barely reacted to Tsukune's sucker punch nor does he have anything personal against Tsukune, but if they fight, they fight.
But Tsukune shouldn't be worn down before his fight with Akua, the chances of his Shinso blood reawakening will increase greatly, which we all know is dangerous.
Ruby is definitely going to own her opponent, i like how Ikeda can be serious and comical at the same time during critical parts of the story, and it fits the series as well.
So Ruby would cast a black magic spell on the electro-dude and next opponent.
I really also want a mano A mano match with Tsukune and Miyabe.
Let's see how strong Miyabi really is.
oh there is raw. didnt even bother lookin yesterday since I heard translation goes slow. hm.this is the first chapter of this manga I have to wait for ... cover looks nice. wonder where all those metal pipes go..in the chair? or up into ...? 0.o I suspected she has strange tastes ... gonna read the other pages after coffee....

Spoiler for 44:
Well, I don't think that Miyabi treated Tsukune as an serious opponent, which is the reason why he was knocked out by him in the Yuki Onna arc.
Considering the fact that Miyabi managed to quickly recover from Tsukune's attack, and managed to stop Kahula's attack without any receiving any major injuries, I think he's a lot stronger then what his first battle with Tsukune suggested.
On the topic of Tsukune's Shinso power's, I think that the amount of power, which would be capable of awakening Alucard is currently sealed by the Holy Lock, which Tsukune still wears.
After all, I don't think that Tohou Fuhai is an idiot that would risk sending Tsukune to a place, where Alucard's body would be located, if Tsukune's powers could easily cause the revival of Alucard.
Most likely, Tsukune could awaken Alucard only if he would lose control over his power's, which would break the Holy Lock's "seal" or if the Holy Lock would be removed from Tsukune's arm and, in my opinion, the chances of that happening, are pretty much zero.
I understand, but in the end, even with all the safety measures that Touhou may have put in place to prevent this, Tsukune's Shinso power will still be released, but this won't happen until a critical point in the storyline, his Shinso power being awaken is a result of 3 major things, anger, rescuing and protecting his friends especially Moka, and she is a big trigger for this to happen.
@Mahou
A traitor you say?, i bet it is Miyabi considering hes on good terms with Kiria and of course, Hokuto himself, but of course there is also Akua with her own goals, so shes also a traitor to Gyokuro if she were to ever found out what Akua is up to, and there is also Kahlua, but her love for her sister will be what makes her change sides.
So, Miyabi, Kahlua and Akua are our three traitors to Gyokuro.

Spoiler for 44:
Ah, she aksed Miyabi who of his subdivision graduated from Youkai academy and he told her that it's Hokuto and Kiria.
Basically: Gyokuro "By the way who of your subdivision graduated from that place?" Miyabi: "I think Yoshii Kiria and Kaneshiro Hokuto ... What is that about?
Gyokuro: Stop playing dumb. Someone from inside invited the intruders in. Just where are the traitors who guided the foolish mice ...
Gyokuro: Well? Do you know something? Chief of the first division Fujisaki Miyabi."
Miyabi: "Come again? I don't know a thing about it.

Spoiler for 44:
True, I agree that Tsukune's Shinso powers are going to be released in the future, but it probably won't occur in the current arc, since in the first place, there is nothing suggesting that Tsukune would be currently capable of controlling his Shinso powers - after all Tsukune's last "out of control" rampage, suggests that Tsukune still needs to train some more, before he would be capable of using his Shinso powers.
Second of all, if Alucard would be awakened in the current arc it would basically be equal with a GAME OVER screen, unless Ikeda would pull some kind of a**pull that would allow everyone to escape - an unnecessary a**pull, I might add, which could easily be avoided by keeping Alucard sealed.
In other words, at the current moment, I don't see any logical reason, which could explain why Ikeda should awaken Alucard in the current arc, apart from going into the cliche shounen manga routine, that no matter how strong the protagonist becomes, they can't prevent the antagonist from realizing their objectives and well, I don't want the R+V manga to turn out like that.
@Mahou
Spoiler for 44:
Hm, interesting, so either Hokuto and Kiria are acting on their own, or Miyabi is a pretty good liar.
Or, as another option, maybe Hokuto and Kiria are the one's who are lying to Tsukune and his friends, trying to make them fall into some kind of trap.
@Mahou
Ah ok, thanks, but i still don't want to rule out Miyabi just yet though, because remember what Hokuto said back in 38 that the first Division and Fairy Tale HQ think differently and that he says that the first Division is even opposing them, and if Miyabi is the Chief of the first Division than we know what that means.
Mmmm..,so, the first opponent is Raiden and uses electricity as a weapon....,
six opponents before the final battle, then it is supposed to be a fight one vs one...this is interesting...,because i want to see all strength of all tim of Tsukune.., because I think they are all improved..
However..,Gyokurou in the firs page..is super Hot... go in harem Tsukune, go in harem Tsukune..

Spoiler for 44:
And Tsukune's last out of control rampage happened a month ago according to the timeline of the actual story. He's received a sizable amount of training since then so I very much doubt he hasn't gotten any further in terms of being able to control his newfound power. His last rampage also happened before the modification ritual was complete. Unless you count the time where he blew the floor apart after Gyokurou threw a pillar at him as his last out of control rampage, I think Tsukune's gotten a lot further at this stage and has received the training you're saying he needs. I'm not saying Tsukune's training is complete, but that he's deserves more credit than you're giving him
If anything, if Tsukune still needed more training and was at the same stage as he was when he last went beserk, I doubt Fuhai-sensei would've ever let him go after Moka.
It's money in the bank if your betting on Tsukune going apeshit again...
As far as the chapter. I don't mind letting the girls get their turn, but I hope it isn't dragged out to one chapter for each fight. That'll be a helluva long ass wait for some Moka action...

Spoiler for 44:
Well, you have got a point, since it's pretty evident that the amount of control Tsukune has over his powers has grown, and it might be possible that he's capable of controlling himself a little better compared to his last out of control rampage, but ,well ...how much control Tsukune has got at the current moment, remains unknown, until we see Tsukune enter another out of control rampage, or see him using an amount of power that would make others suspect that Tsukune is a Shinso vampire, and I don't think that we are going to see something like that, happening in the current arc.

Spoiler for 44:
I would say the amount of control he's gained is more than just "a little" considering he's come out of the modification ritual completely and successfully and that he's had ulterior training since then If anything, I would say that's the reason we won't see him completely release his powers, rather than him not having completed his training and not being very much further ahead since his last rampage.
