It don't count. Happy end for the girl, not for the story. Like the scenario I mentioned some pages ago (just after the cute Kyonko/Itsuko scene), with a somewhat happy end for Itsuko, with her living in the original world with Kyonko as her sister (and Kyon as her boyfriend(?)).
Some nice ends with "then, sucky things happen, but in the end they live happy after ever, kinda. Using F/SN as exemple, the Fate True End, with Saber going back, but everything else turning out good (exept not, but you don't know that at time). Or even Heaven's Feel True End. In Clannad, the hypothetical end where Nagisa dies but Ushio lives. (do it actually happen in the game? I was hoping this would be the end of the anime) So I wasn't all wrong then? Good to know. To be honest, the default Not-Enough-Flags Bad End is pretty much like this. Then someone gets bored. And everything goes to hell. The Esper Subroute is kind of happy... but it really solves nothing... So the answer is "no", I guess. |

Well. Itsuko gets a happy ending in the main Esper route. Just that Kyon doesn't at all.
Um. I guess Mikuru gets a relatively happy ending in the TT subroute. I think she's going to suicide there though. ...At least she dies happy! Yuki, however... "Nagato stories always end poorly". It's the truth. Yuki is an extremely tragic character and that's how we should play her. Hmm. I think the Divine route ends pretty damn happily for the original SOS. So it's not all bad endings. Just there is no one single ending where EVERYONE is happy, aside from FINAL, but you said that didn't count. |

And if I had my way and actually got around to doing anything, what I'd write would result in everyone who survives being miserable, and probably the dismantling of the SOS Brigade... provided there's anyone left aside from Kyon...
I'm a good person, honest! Okay, maybe not...

Ah, and Nagato's story don't end that badly. I mean, Kyon still likes her, in some way. But I agree she is really tragic, tough. While I would like to see her happy for ever with Kyon, I understand what you mean. Ah, if I understood well, I will love Divine route... Will be a Bad End with exactly the oposite? PP: Quote:

Attention all. (Feel free to ignore this.)
We definitely need a Seitenkan-SOS version of this. You need to turn on captions for subtitles. Apologies if this is something generally considered nasty from a hentai or something; I'm not up-to-date on my Japanese memes. You may now return to talking about relevant things.

Speaking of a happy Yuki, anybody read the Disapperance spin-off, the Vanishing of Nagato Yuki-chan? I got through a few pages, then I got scared to go through the rest. Nagato as a shoujo heroine just doesn't compute... the sadistic gamer otaku of Haruhi-chan was much easier on the brain.
