Lets have a competion to see who can draw the best samurai scene. Try to draw a picture like its out a comic/manga so theres some kind of thing happening within the picture, rather than just drawing a character design. For example a fight or a samurai walking through the rain etc.

Rules:
You have to come up with your own original ideas,so no copying.
Part from that do woteva the hell you want as long as its samurai related.

that sounds like one CRAZZZZY idea, hell its soo crazy it HAS to work

sounds like a sweet comp i recon over the top samurai scenes are by far the best kinda pics going i think il pull my thumb out my ass finish the pic for that other comp and start one for this

I'll give it a go when I have time.. I just happen to have couple new samurai scetches ready.

Not only that your avatar is a picture from "Samurai Champloo" heheh, you want Westernized Samurai or Real Samurai like the movie "The 7 Samurais". I am guessing you want the Kill Bill kinda thing

As long as its super slick and it is some how samurai related. So yeh feel free to do a modern/ kill bill or vicous (from bebop) style samurai. Heres my pic, its a bit lame cos theres piss all happening in the picture and it got cropped like whoa

After finals i'll post something up.. I like the idea though, i have some thoughts that could make a really great scene. Does this competition have a deadline?

I was lazy doing sword.. I'm actually modelling better katana, which have some details, but probably never finish it..

. Anyways thats real cool gaara. Interesting style you have. I think the folds in the fabric round the legs are especially good, as with the colouring. The proportions looks accurate as well.
