346 is finally here..the raw is released...its about frankie and the pluton....
discuss...i dint understand kanji much... for omae no kaasan of arlongpark "Tom's group was known as "Tom's Workers". It had three members, Tom, Iceberg and Caty Flahm. Caty was thought for dead but in fact underwent a name change. His name was changed to "Franky" so they think. That "fake" that they obtained actually has the signatures of the designers. Their goal is now Franky...which willconveniently lead everyone to Usopp as well. Then all the cast will have assembled and we'll be ready for an epic battle." |

THANKS for the translation lactobacillus. Lots of info leaking out. So it all coming down to frankie and this Katie character, eh?? I wish we had like another page to this ch. Luffy smashing in like that ....ahhhh....(Was hoping that he had kicked Robin in the face when he smashed through) I will discuss more after I read it.

From the look of things, Frankie is highly likely going to be the next StrawHat Pirates' crew. Although, personally speaking, Frankie is not a likeable character (but there might not be any choice since he is one of only two disciples of one of the greatest shipwrights.
I have a feeling that Robin is cooperating with CP9, only to find out the TRUE HISTORY. If Robin really wants to help the world government to accomplish world domination, she could just tell them about the other super-weapons (since she has already seen and read the ancient writings). If not that, maybe CP9 has something of importance to Robin, which is used to blackmail Robin into helping them. I just don't see how Robin would (happily/willingly) submit to the World Government's view of total domination. |

I agree. Franky is not the most sociable individual anyways. Plus even though Paulie isn't the aprentice of the greatest shipright ever, that doesn't mean he's bad. In fact he's probubly better than franky could ever dream of being.

I'd be happy with either Franky or Paulie, both have there own unique characteristics that would make an interesting addition to the straw hat crew.
Plus I like how cocky Franky is, I can see it now. Franky: "Man we need to dock so I can get some more fuel." Nami: "How exactly are you going to pay for this fuel when we're broke? Your looks?" Franky: "Well I hadn't planned on that, but that's a good idea."

I would rather have Franky as a member since he clearly has far more personality than Pauly. However, Pauly already fits perfectly into the mold of Sanji and Chopper, the talented apprentice of a great master shipwright/cook/doctor, which makes him the ideal, likely choice.
...at this point in time. This is proving to be one of the more unpredictable arcs in One Piece. |

Even though Chopper is cute and I'd hate to see him get hurt, I want to also see him get stronger and kick some butt and take some names. He needs to beef up his fighting skill and get better. One reason is it would be fun to be able to say "Wow, he got his a** kicked by a reindeer!!" more often.
 Plus of all the fighters, Chopper is one of the coolest in battle. Probubly because he's not a normal fighter, so like Nami he's got to pretty much pull stuff out of his *** when fighting because he lacks experience, so he can't just jump in and know what to do like Sanji and Zoro can. That's what makes him so cool in a fight. Less experienced people tend to get more creative in how they kick your *** and hand it to you.

wow talk about a super twist this chapter was even better than the last one. damn it i want franky as the new member even more now he's a legendary shipwright and a cyborg that's better than a deluded cowboy like paulie. next chapter is going to be a free for all 5 on 5 lucci kalipha kaku blueno robin vs luffy and co plus paulie. i can see nami taking on kalipha. chopper blueno since chopper is a crafty bastard and blueno has that door door fruit. paulie and luffy will likely take on lucci and kaku. but zoro vs robin sounds weird to me.

I think any of fights won't occur just yet and CP9 is going to flee to catch and kill Franky. Maybe they will leave one or two members behind to handle Luffy and companions and then Aqua Laguna will halt the action. And I hope we soon know whats up with Usopp and Franky.
Anyway, my predictions for final fights are Usopp & Franky VS Kaku Pauly VS Rob Lucchi Chopper & Nami & Sanji VS Kalifa Zoro Vs Blueno Luffy VS Possible real leader of CP9 if there is any. And Robin won't fight. |

I really hope Franky's the new Strew Hat, he's brilliant. Pauly's kinda blah, he would have been a fine character around 20 or 30 volumes ago but now.... I'm dissapointed if that's the best Oda could come up, and I supposed he should know better. But more I look at it and now after the revelation of the chapter I have stongly began to believe Franky will join. I know I'm being stubborn here but yeah.

I get the feeling that Paulie AND Frankie are going to join up... wouldn't that be awesome? I can see the fights now
Poor Nami needs another girl if Robin's leaving. Maybe they'll find Luffy's musician next . I miss Vivi tho, especially with the anime being on the Arabasta arc.
