the series describe level 6 esper with thing like "Person with Absolute Powers" "Reach the will of Heaven" "bending the laws of the universe"... but if a level 6 esper fight archangel like gabriel or even Aiwass , who would win?
I know more or less as much as you, but by my guesstimate, Gabriel maybe...Aiwass no.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'm pretty sure Aiwass would win against a level 6 esper. Then again, I could just be thinking of Accelerator in awakened form and may be completely missing the point...

Level 6 is call [System], which is the Science side of achieving [La Persona Superiore a Dio].

To get the knowledge of God puts you above even the Angels as "the positions of humans, angels and god are divided into 10 levels, and upon that tree (Tree of Life), the position of God could not be found. As such, humans could not understand the territory of God."

Aiwass is an oddity because he's suppose to represent an 'Element' that God has created, but is "outside of the hands of god".

Basically, [System] allows you to understand the invisible territory missing from [Sephirot].

Slight correction; [System] means you already understand it.

Exactly what I said, with [System] you can understand it, without it you can't.

Aiwass>Gabriel based on the fact that it's above in the ages.

The use of drugs and exercises (Power Curriculum) are used so a human develops a Personal Reality within their brain.

The Personal Reality is the source of an esper's AIM Field and has values in it.

The esper's genetics and the values within the Personal Reality shapes the esper's powers.

The Anime ended at SS1 or right after vol 13, so you should start with vol 14.

I'd still recommend reading the novels from the very beginning, as there is information in the novels that was cut from the anime.

While this isn't a confirmation, but more of a speculation, chances are that Railgun 2 would come out before Index 3. So Index 3 might come out next year, and if there's going to be a Railgun 2, it would be this year.

Fine by me, then. As long as Railgun 2 isn't all moeblob. Wanna see Mental Out, Gunha, and Cyborg Girl there, tho.

Say season III does happen(I'd perfer they do after a Railgun II), how likely would it be that they'll use an original ending and stop there? If not, would it be possible for JC Staff to continue the adaption with NT?

In fact if the Index third season comes before Railgun II it only will cover about 1/3 of the remaining novels leaving space enough for a 4th season and 5th season with NT series. Btw, the director won't go for a original ending since he didn't so for the first and second season.

A common misconception is that JC Staff makes all the decision- But that's not true, the decision on when to animate what doesn't rest with J.C.Staff alone, but with ASCII Media Works, Geneon, and all the other partners in the Production Committee. That being said, the Raildex Franchise is at a very high point right now making money for all parties across all mediums. There's no reason not to continue when you have the momentum...

...This isn't KyoAni and Kadokawa after all

I donno, there doesn't seem to be enough novel material to stretch out a season 3 + 4 (assuming they're leaving NT for a stand alone season).

I mean sure, they can animate the rest of the short stories, but if they reach vol 17, they pretty much have to animate up to vol 19, and that'll only leave vol 20-22 for season 4.

Unless of course they resort to anime-only story arcs to fill up space.
