I disagree that the book made it canon that Kanba didn't love Himari as more than a sister though. I thought their scene together in the novel was pretty romantic. I liked it a lot!

I suppose that it's personal opinion...for me, the novel clearly states the contrary

Changing the subject, I'm pissed that even in the novel it's not explained why in the end Himari was using the hat and she still was her and not PoC
Also, when did the brothers mention the Penguindrum in front of Himari??? because she knew, in the anime and in the novel, what was the Penguindrum! and it seems clear that she wasn't aware in the PoC sessions...wasn't she?

And Mario still did nothing ¿? poor little one

So, nyonyo from the penguindrum live journal translated the prologue from volume 3. I'll post it here since it's really short. The speech pattern indicates Shouma addressing Ringo.

hello, would anyone know if there are English translations for these works available ? I'm not entirely familiar with novels stemming from anime and though I see a few translations have been made they appear to be incomplete and in some cases no longer accessible. Most of all I would prefer reading Mawaru Penguindrum novels in book form if possible.

I could not really say which links were previously checked, though I don't think the link which you have provided was also checked previously. Most of the first volume appears to be consolidated so I'll read through the beginning sections for now.
