True, the only Persian god defeated was Verethragna and the author didn't expanded to other mythology or religion.

So far we have Persian god, Chinese god, Hindu god, Saint, Greek god, Inca/Maya/Aztec god and alot of character from the king arthur story.

Perhaps, but I'm an "analytically minded" person that feels consistency is important. They made it so that Gods can only be hurt by "magical weapons that can even harm a god" so I was curious whether that was the case for Campione as well, which it seems like it's not.

That and an anti-materiel rifle with depleted uranium rounds could probably blow the whole head off..

Well, I think the idea is that Campiones don't stand out too much from normal humans until they activate their authorities to become god-like. Their passive abilities are substantial but not invincible.

Nope, I have never said a word about the maid outfit short story in Volume 8.

One of Salvatore's authorities is a Norse one, and then you've probably read enough about the whole Perseus-Mithra connection in V4.

Well regardless, Baka-Tsuki is off line for the moment. Though it is strange that it been off for about 4 hours, maintenance doesn't take that long I believe. Either projects are getting approve or is it something else may be the reason.

Anyway, the one thing I think that will make Godou a lot stronger if he learns how to break down the restrictions on his powers and is able to use them more than once a day. It does seem overpowered though, when you think about it.

Yeah, it does sound quite overpowered. If he could spam the [Warrior], he could steamroll most enemies if he prepared beforehand.

Erica talked about how authorities go through allocation adjustments, so perhaps because he gained all 10 forms of Verethragna's power, Godou tried to squeeze in all 10 form in his slots, leaving him with 10 restricted forms?
If he had given up on a few, maybe he could have wielded the rest without restrictions?

Yeah Godou would be overpowered, but I think that is the only move the author can do to give Godou a power up or him killing a God maybe in vol 13 granting him new powers.

So wouldnt it be possible for superman to be a heretic god?
I mean superman has a cult even... so in this universe wouldnt it be possible for Clark Kent to appear?

Possibly. Except myths fueling a god is just a theory really. After all, Heretical Gods are described as Gods deciding to rebel against their myths. Except, there is a way to forcefully summon Heretical Gods (Voban's ritual), there is a way to speed up the creation of Heretical Gods (using serpent dieties causes Heroes of Steel to become more likely to pop up, even though rebelling against their myth would be more along the lines of ignoring the serpents), and the part of the god that makes them heretical can be removed from them (Verethragna, and Sun Wukong had this).

The theory that describes how Heretical Gods are formed is blatantly wrong in one part. They might have made mistakes in another part as well.

Besides, if gods were only fueled by the modern myths and worshippers/believers, they wouldn't be getting abilities based on their past that barely anyone remembers.

How a Heretical God is actually made is still a pretty big question. We only know what the current official hypothesis is...

Actually, supposedly the dude is weak against magic, only strong against physical blows.

Sure kryptonite is an easy win, but a magical thunderstorm, magical homing swords (that also remove his abilities), a magical sun-horse, or a magical gigantic beast that burns him all work...

Alternative, bull form (since it scales to the target's strength), and fist fight it out... Godou is supposed to be the guy who finds ways to win in hopeless situations after all.
