No, Saizou was in the first chapter, but he does show up again later. And yes, you're right, Kurumu's in a different class, though that changes with the Season 2 manga.

Really when it comes down to it the story is ecchi, light hearted comedy, harem, and a bit of drama about love and fitting in. What really helps keep things going is that the characters are endearing - Tsukune isn't a whiny wuss, Moka and the other cast each have soft and strong sides (and some very scary sides too! ) and the whole package is just fun to read. It's a bit formulaic, sure, but it does it pretty well and with a nice spin on the normal elements of the harem genre.

This first ep pretty much ensured I'll keep watching all the way through.

you cant really judge the story from one ep so when people speak of how much its "good" they are either talking about what they think will happen or what they know of from the manga.

no one said that the animation was amazing,
but you cant really call this "bad" either its all about scales.
its no karas animation wise, but its not musashi gundoh either.

was a cool ep,
really liked the way it was done.
i think the art was better then in ep1,
the animation was about the same.

they showed kurumu and brought her character from the manga pretty well, i think she will keep the ecchi viewers pretty happy,
though there was far less pantyshots this ep.(though to balance it there were much more breasts being squished XDD)

next ep we'll get to see the little witch, which would suggest they are trying to introduce all the characters as fast as possible.
but they are not cutting corners in that manner as they still give each character a whole ep (apparently anyway) i sure hope they get to the kickass parts soon (possibly ep 5-6 if they use ep 4 to introduce the last girl)

Anyway, I think this is a more interesting verision of Love monster as the main female isn't as annoying. And maybe i'm more interested in harem then reverse harems as i'm a guy. (go figure) I also think that the male lead is a good one. I think that is a must for a good harem anime. The main male has got have some good qualities. (DC Dacapo for instance, I couldn't see a reason why everyone liked the fool of a lead)

Thought to be honest I'm not sure why this needs to be a harem. Can't they introduce some other males. that would be a nice change.

Yea, it seems that they are somewhat following the manga. Those pictures from 2chan shows a huge part from it.

I couldn't wait to see Shirayuki (Her voice actress is Rie Kugimiya!)

If that would be true, they would change quite alot. And too be honest almost too much for my taste, because the Chance that they mix up too much is almost too high this Way. And that could be quite bad for the Anime Story wise.

Hmm, ypu 1 chapter = 1 episode ratio, but I'm guessing that's because the chapters are so big.

It was a good episode, this was much more amusing animated than just the picture. LOL, Kurumu and her uncontrollable big boobs. It was like a battle of the boobs when Kurumu was chest to chest with Moka and taunting her.

Thank god they fix the non-stop panty flashing and fixed the way Moka walks. She doesn't seem like she has a stick up her ass anymore. The really mellowed it down and worked on the story more instead of over-kill on fanservice.

Tskunke's voice just doesn't seem to work for me, just doesn't match up with what I expected.

So we meet Kurumu and Kurumu's breasts. I get the feeling this won't be the last we see of the "boobs pushing against Tsukune" shot. Overall, the episode was another pretty good adaptation of a chapter, so I'll be looking into some of the aspects unique to the anime.

Commentary bat! Looks like he provides roughly the equivalent of the "bite-sized monster dictionary", and I don't mind that. I just hope the characters acknowledge him at one point or another. The bat knows all.

The OP animation, while half-lazy (I prefer original sequences over reused episode footage), isn't too bad. At least they have all of the harem - Rubi, Yukari, Moka, Mizore, Kurumu - in there, even if some of the haremettes won't be showing up for some time to come.

The ED animation is sort of cool, even if it looks like someone went wild with the neon lines effect, but the song itself is good work for Nana Mizuki. I prefer it to the OP, actually, though the OP isn't too bad itself.

So next week is Yukari's intro, and presumably, more Rider Kicks from Moka. Things are looking slightly better.

In conclusion: Viva small breasts! Viva Moka!

Nice episode...looks like the storyline so far follows just like the manga.Just today,its 50% less pantsu scenes,and 50% more boobs scenes..Seems like they change Moka's skirt abit,since her skirt in episode 1 was too short to be called a school uniform skirt i guess lol.

Ah that narrating bat look so annoying.Even if its for the sake of comedy,but i still feel like it spoil out some of the scene in today's episode.

Overall 6.8/10...

Owh and nice ED "dancing in the velvet moon" by Mizuki Nana...as expected from her voice \-o-/

Actually Gonzo is not wrong in this. Because in the manga Kurumu's boobs are like that. So they are being faithful to the manga in it's adaptation.
