Fate/stay night Game discussion (Warning: Spoilers)

thats not the case.....at least with me

after a long trial and error period, i discovered i had to extract the contents of the disc 3 image and mount that instead of the actual disc 3 image....

it took me almost 1/2 of a day to start play/watching this game in english. i downloaded 3 diffrent disc 3s and tried all sorts of emulators

it all boiled down to extracting the info in the disc 3 image and mounting that. i know that doesn't sound right, but thats how it worked for me...

thank you all for all of your help now i can finally get into this game!!!

I've uploaded a completed save file for Fate/Stay Night so that it's possible to see all of the endings, pics, movies, etc.

Simply extract and copy this to your Fate save folder (mine is under "fate_english_savedata" in the My Documents folder. Make sure to back up your previous save files if you'd like to play the game in order.

Is everyone playing Fate/Hollow Ataraxia in Japanese? If I remember correctly, there was no patch for this and the only way to have english in it is AGTH. I'm not sure if there was a way to play HA is english withouth AGTH.

Unfortunately there isn't a patch for HA so the only way is to use the AGTH. But the translation is very raw so it's kinda hard to understand. You essentially understand what is happening in the scene, but some parts may be confusing.

Imagine how much easier life would be if we could all read Japanese

Anybody who has this in the original Japanese, is it easy to understand or do you need to understand what is being said to play the game? Im thinking of getting the game but i carnt read or understand Japanese?
Is it worth my getting the game or will it be too confusing playing it ?

Buy it for the use of English patch. However, Japanese using in this game is very advanced, so advance that some Japanese cannot understand it as well :P. Nasu is famous of using creative (or weird, depend on how you look at it) grammar and kanji.

For the Fate game.
When i start it up theres always a warning sign saying something about disc 3,then an error if i click ok can somebody please tell me whats going on please.

^ Your third disc is probably corrupt so you'll have to get another disc 3. Also, make sure that you have your AppLocale set for Japanese. You should also read the last few pages since other people have had the same problem, so it might be quicker.

If you dig back a few pages you'll see some people with similar problem--pm them, as they have already solved it so they can also help you.

if u didnt find the problem, basically u have to extract the .bin file for disc 3 and mount that file

yea i agree with larfin man.....dont mount the actual image, you need to mount the disc 3 bin.

hey is fate h/a even worth playing for a non-japanese speaker, cause i heard that the "agth" translations were really really weak and rough....

Actually, I want to see Shirou's UBW animated. I think the moment he realizes his Reality Marble is one of the best moment in the game (judging from scene from Realta Nua version).

Unlimited Blade Works patch is officially released!! If you have Realta Nua (the PS2 version), now it's a chance to patch the PC version with the voice (so you have the subtitle for what they're saying :P).
