Will be free for platooning for the next two hours. All my tier 8s are done though, so if we're gonna do it, it's for tier 5 mayhem as usual~.
Edit: Well it was frustrating 12 matches, where I only won two of them, and all of those matches were in tiers 7-8. This time around, I was the one in need of cheering up, and platooning with Irenicus helped in that regard (Ghostie Eye only joined us in the final few matches). We went 11 wins straight before we hit a lost, and after Ire logged off, Ghostie stayed with me until the server reset. We won two more games before it did, which brings me... one game over my result last night. Oi.

Not sure I agree .. even if you use a GLD, BIA doesn't take up an equipment slot. I'm nearing my 4th skill on my E-75 crew (which I am tempted to move to the E-100 + 1 noob crew) and the number of useful skills remaining is nearly down to firefighting or camo .. more than happy to have BIA on them.

It's the same with or without vents, they are additive, I believe. (IMO) If you have only one set of crew skills, there are more usually more important skills to pick (6th sense, repair, camo) depending on the tank that its not worth it in my eyes to pick up BiA until the 3rd or so skill.

BiA is nominally 5%, but the actual result is around 2.5%. It's not worth it for the first five or more skills when your tank relies a lot on view range, which would be the German heavy jagdpanzers and post-war tanks.

Solution to arty is less dmg, better rof, bigger splash aoe, and more mobility.
i.e.: Priest rof, Hummel mobile, and T92 aoe splash. the only problem is that its gonna make it less real to the real thing..... so arty might just need dmg debuff and acr debuff, i doubt arty was pin point precision like is nowadays.

like someone once said, arty players are abuot 10% that know how to play it and play it good, another 15% know how to play it, the other 75% just plain suck and shouldn't have started playing arty.
i see ES changed his avatar. also i don't want UTE to play arty in platoon anymore, that was a major flaw to the team imo, but then again, no one really scouted that game when he was in the arty, idk if the crew was 100 and had its perks and equipment.

That S-51 is fully-upgraded, has a rammer and EGLD, and a 100% crew with 1.8 skills. Working against it was the city, the targets staying in cover, and the the S-51's fully-aimed CEP still being the size of a basketball court. Also worrying about the scout that nearly reached our base.
Of course, I'm not that good with arty either, but the game doesn't exactly make it very rewarding to bother learning it. |

the way to use arty like that is to aim at the spots around the area where you expect tanks to appear, then when you have targets on the field use ctrl right click the mini to the square, then always keep looking at the mini when ur in snipe mode, when you see a scout tank up on ur los, then ur pretty much td mode or time to bail (run forest run).
i hate those idiots that going in front of my shots especially when i'm about to shoot, then they die making my shots useless, then ES, LOL idk if he knows he's out in the open more than he should be, makes me want to say Endless "no cover" Soul or maybe Endless "hit me baby one more time" Soul LOL. I just need to say that, yes that was pretty bad i admit that.
