Ohh this one goes on my Google Calendar right away! ... thanks for the conf!

EDIT:

Will they be airing Inuyasha on Saturdays (Oct 3 is Sat)? 4 times a month? ... or is that a Premiere day?

Yeah I really can't wait for this. Definitely one of the anime I was really into. I'd like to say years ago but I pretty much picked up each movie as it came out so I never really got that out of it . Just glad they are finally going to finish this.

All I know is that the premiere is Oct 3rd.

Picture confirmation below. Notice the 10/3, October 3.

I also shows that the OP/ED music will be done by Do As Infinity.

The OP is by Do As Infinity and ED is by AAA.

I've just gotta love the all star cast lined up for this one even if I couldn't possibly be in a position to launch right into this story (I only saw about 1/2 of the original Inuyasha). Kappei Yamaguchi and Satsuki Yukino getting more work (among others) is aways a good thing.

I hope the late night slot isn't indicative of a shorter ( ~26 episode ) series, because that'd be very very difficult to do.

I'm hoping the late night spot means that there will be very little censoring.

Oh is there something to censor in Inu Yasha?
I want to see Kagome and Inu Yasha!

I liked Inuyasha but was never too crazy about it like so many others are. Still, the ending was a bit too anti-climatic for my tastes, so it's good they're finally getting things back in gear.

I was under the impression that it was some kind of movie, but if it turns out to be another simulcast across the world like they did with FMA and Tears To Tiara, I'll be elated.

I am hopping they release one last movie along with this continuation-series cause that third movie (Swords of an honorable ruler) was awesome....

Rest assured it's not a movie, I'm very sure Animax Asia acquired another simulcast for Inuyasha Final Act. I don't watch Animax often, but saw the commercial while I changed to another channel. Then I went "wait a minute..." and switched back to Animax to see what it was again.

Oh, man! If that is the case, AnimeSuki better be prepared with a sub-forum for Inuyasha , because with the sheer number of people that will be able to watch this at the same time, this is going to be epic!!!

I have to settle for streaming myself but it sure is great news that this show will be getting some well-deserved exposure. The material being animated is very good so I expect this series to finish up strong (at least that's what I'm hoping for.)

The characters will be the same. This anime is continuing where it left off at the end of the first series.
