u gotta hate matches that go like that, so when i'm usually the person that will die first if i feel like it turns out like that, then i go back to the garage and play another tank. I don't always stick around and watch the fight.

Though I bought one too, except in my case I'd never had one before. Despite the 3001H's horrid armor, I'm amused by the thought of shooting Konisch rounds at unfortunate Tier 3s.

I'll be rebuying my VK 30.01 (H) right before the update, assuming there isn't a sale in the first weekend event of September.

When I bought the 3001H back in 7.5 it was actually the type of tank I was looking for: it's speedy, it packs a punch, it can carousel heavies and TDs, it can snipe and go hull down (since the turret will bounce/absorb everything they shoot at you), it has good traverse speed. The only downside is the wet paper armor and the fact is a little terrible the stock grind (I had the luck of free-xp the turret and having the 75mm L70 unlocked from the time the panzer 4 still had it).

Now after 8.8 I'm really considering on buying the VK 3001 P again to grind the Porsche Tiger (I'm only about 20k xp away from unlocking it) since my 100% crew in the 3001 H will be retrained as a heavy for free.

what gain? you buy it for 50% of the full cost and sell it for 50% of the full cost, it a 1:1 credit return! actually you will LOSE credit because the ammo still cost full price and you can only sell them for 50% of its price.

Far as I know if you have the VK3001 in your garage when 8.8 hits the VK gets moved down to T5 and you get the new heavy and a free garage slot.

The gain comes from the 50% credit gain event, I mean.

Actually you get a medium (the Panther Prototype) + a garage slot for free, and the 3001H gets converted into heavy and the crew in it gets retrained as a heavy crew.
