That a scouting award?
I am glad I decided to pimp up my KV-1s. This is a definite keeper! Current tank goals: IS, IS-3 & IS-7!! Sell or no sell the Tiger? - Tak

The upper plate (the thin, upright one) on the KV1's hull seems to be the best place to aim at with a normal t4 or 5 gun. The lower glacis has a habit of mysteriously bouncing shots that should've penned it in my experience.

I've decided to abandon the German light tank line since after some reading about its last light tank the VK2801 it turns out it isn't meant to be all that great for the amount of effort involved in grinding for it so I'm going to divert my efforts into researching the chaffee instead.
That said I'm holding on to the Luchs as I can farm a decent amount of XP per win from it.

My A13 Cruiser Mk. III earned its second Confederate badge and an Ace Tanker mastery badge in a battle where I hit twelve enemy tanks, damage eleven... and killed a mere three. The QDF 2-pdr. Mk. IX cannon is just not meant to be a sniping weapon, but the other two choices of weapons have terrible deficiencies of their own. (The Pom Pom I could live with if I wanted to brawl, but you do not want to brawl in an A13.)
Meanwhile, my Pz38nA crew is up to 100%, 100%, 99%, and 98% on their core skills. It's been a long month. |

After I got the KV-1s, I sold the KV-1 right away. I could not stand the KV-1s slow engine and terrible turn rate. I know its a heavy hitter, but I crave strategic flexibility as well. The KV-1s is superior in just about every aspect, and its equipped with a weapon that is competitive up to tier 8. - Tak

Experienced that during the beginnig of the holidays as well, where I had my B1 thrown into a match with a freaking Lowe. Take note I was platooned with a Matilda at the time (I think it was either Kimidori or RRW I was platooned with), so yeah the MM is just wonky at times. Surprisingly, both of us survived and the team won, but both of us spent the battle cowering behind cover at the base close to the artillery.

In all honesty, I'd prefer not to meet any KV-1S in my match. That shit's gun is just plain OP. My tanks being an M6 and a Hellcat doesn't help much either. At least I have easier time killing a KV-1 in my Sherman than anything I could throw against a KV-1S.
