Vol 12 cover
I wonder which two people will become pros at the end of the current 3-dan League. Leading at first place is Hiuma who has one loss and this is his last chance. Second place is Souta and third place is Ginko who has three losses. There are still six matches left. The synopsis also mentions Ten-chan will start making a move, probably after hearing about Yaichi and Ginko. |

I don’t find your disbelief surprising at all. -_-
Tsunderes are popular and all, but........her cons are a bit more extreme than most others...............

I really can't understand japan's taste on violent girls are they M or something they even liked to be electrocuted by liking a certain trigger happy electro master or getting whipped by loli pinkett. I would like more if its the two AI's but I'm really surprised with Ginko relationships.

Oh my goodness. I finally finished volume 11 and it LITERALLY addressed every single complaint I had regarding volume 10.
Ginko FINALLY got her power-up after massive suffering. The fact author decided to give her the "Shogi-alien" status is such a powerful moment. I understand most readers are lolicons but for Ginko fan this volume is sweetest treat ever! Childhood friend done right! Not to mention the absolute PERFECT confession. The build-up of tension from the previous volumes. The alternating perspective between two characters showing you the power of a childhood friend. The absolute PINNACLE of cuteness when a tsundere is completely shifts to the dere side instead of tsun (d'awwwwwww). I regret so hard that I didn't read this upon release. I have not had such a satisfying single volume in such a longggg time. Everything you could've asked for you got. The bonus short story's just icing on the cake. This volume easily reminds me why I love light novels so much. Such a nice balance of hotbloodness, drama, and LOVE. Can't wait for more idiot-couple moments between the two. Ayy lmao at the volume releasing on Valentine Day. Highly anticipating this one. |

I definitely think she’s the most attractive of all the girls (though a lot of that is because the other options are all jailbait as I mentioned before), but........the way she treats Yaichi is just...................... Hopefully now that the two of them are an official couple she’ll tone that part down.

so lately, the author is toning down Ginko's rampage?
I have only read the english release books and haven't payed much attention on spoiler details on later on. its good if she's not becoming violent but I don't know..... to make her character change out because of outside interference(what the author experience with the passing of relative) its just doesn't sit well with me, unless its done good.

Vol 12 trial read is out.
Yaichi played against Meijin again and won. He will be playing against Okito for the Teii-sen and probably against him again for the Ryuuou-sen. Ginko is in the lead but it looks like there is still some hope for Ai. |
