As for the series itself, I have a feeling it might sell really well when its first volume gets out. It is ordinary in all it does, nothing about it has not been done somewhere before, however it does it so well that it is really entertaining and capturing. It is due a mix of likable characters, fun consistent world that starts of by cleaning a monster corpse and cool as well as funny moments.
If it even sells only 1/10th of the views it got so far it will still be a big success.

He's the only one half-monster
Other people are normal human with weird powersuit
Yet the monsters are being killed with guns, why not develop new tank or helicopter with those weapons instead?

Maybe too big collateral damage? Though whatever it is that rips such huge holes in those monsters with this kinda ammo, they should use it on artillery or aircraft and such to get monsters before they get into a city.

The series is very hyped up right now in japan, so it will probably last a while. There still could be other character that can become monster, considering how the monster in ch7 can speak, which probably indicates he was formerly human, as well. What's stopping another heroic character from becoming one? Also, the anti kaiju defense force
works in tandem with the JSDF, so we could see more anti kaiju weapons in the future. Mina's group is the third platoon, so obviously there are more out there. The series is only 7 chapters long right now, there's a lot of room for growth. As a big fan of tokusatsu, I'm loving this

I don't think they're going to explain everything 7 chapters in, we don't even know much about the kaijus in the first place. Maybe the parasite in his body is reacting to his psychological state? Who knows

Hard pass on her for me. Between the age difference, the personality, and the hotness of the main heroine, I don't have any interest in rooting for Twintail.

Infantry can be deployed faster and in more places, so if guns suffice, why not?

That was a great OPM-Punch. Loved how his leg got holding drills and how his arm opened up for that blast coming from the elbow. I wonder if Kikoru will become another secret keeper of Kafka's transformation or if she will see this whole scene as some sort of blood loss delirium. Hope for the former outcome.

I liked Kikoru's expression when Kafka entered the room. Before she was all angry and upset and then wooosh, all that negative emotions, gone. Only the comedy routine cadet could have done that. That and calling the Commander by her first name like they are in a dumb love story while they are in a meeting, lol. XD

Ah yeah, given Kikoru remembers the monster transformation of Kafka but kept quiet I guess this means she gonna become the 2nd secret keeper next chapter or so.

Nope, not gonna happen in the foreseeable future. Its one of most popular manga in jump plus right now, usually ranking in the top 5 and only a few notch below the likes of spy x family and/or jigokuraku and far above other new series such as Oshi no Ko, which has never even reach top 10, AFAIK. Might as well stop reading if you just want to complain all the time, you're getting really repetitive
