It's part of the special "Music Video Project" that will be appearing every Monday during the Summer (kinda a way of keeping us pre-occupied until the movie XD).

I just saw this it's on random curiosity's blog and it was great. I wasn't expecting ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWA with the meival video as i though it would if been mismatched but it actually went with it very well . The next one comes out on the 23rd don't know which one though.

I loved the music video, can't help wondering if that's just a glimpse of something more to come?

While there'd be cries of 'ZOMG! Gainax milking their properties again' all over the internets, that has the potential to be awesome.

I'd happily watch 'Pseudo-Medieval Gurren Lagann'....

New information and official poster for the movie from NewType August:

On a related note, "期間限定生産" by Shouko Nakamura will be the theme for the movie. Single will be out in September and the cover will feature a Nia illustration.

Eh it's Shouko Nakagawa by the way. But doesn't matter, I never really cared for her.

The more important news in that article is that they're going to sell a Wonderfest special edition Metallic Gurren Lagann revoltech.

Damn it, that looks good... why why am I not going to Japan for Wonderfest??

Err, this is weird for me since she cosplayed as Yoko before... now Nia?

I'd rather have Fukui Yukari sing the single and cosplaying as Nia... oh well...

(no seriously, why the f*ck is Yoko's voice actress cosplaying as Nia and not her own?? That's preposterous!!!! *goes on ranting)
