I'm guessing that the more fleet you have the less damaged the crucible is

thus, making it more stable

thus making it not misfire and create more collateral damage

I've heard that if you linger for a while in the crucible it is actually destroyed and you get an non standard gameover.

If so too bad nobody was there to smack this guy upside the head before this fiasco was created. Being impressed is one thing, but don't bring that kind of ending into a game where it doesn't belong.

What a pity that the actual ending proved the Salarian wrong. According to Bioware the only choice is to follow Reaper's orders.

Bioware's ending to Mass Effect 3 was so bad that people will believe anything that supposedly comes from Bioware, no matter how ridiculous, stupid, or illogical it is.

and there's a fair number of people on the BSN that believe in the latest rumour. Their reasoning? The latest rumour is too detailed to be false. Either that or it's the work of a master troll.

While Deus Ex was a very good game it wasn't anything ground breaking, especially with the ending.

In fact, one of the reviewers posted this.

An interesting rumor, but not the first "Bioware" employee to come forward. I still remember one other rumor of TOR's expansion coming sooner than anyone realized to retain subscribers, which revolves around a "fall from grace" storyline for the characters. Or other tidbits about Mass Effect 3 and future installments.

This is even dumber than the existing endings standing on their own. If this is true (big if here, it is 4chan after all) then I'll just chalk up Bioware as another casualty of the heavy commercialization of video gaming and move on.

I have to admit, while I am easily no fan of Bioware since TOR, I still am surprised that the backlash has gone this far.

Let's assume for a second that the rumour is true, anyway. Those plans, if real, would had been in the pipeline months before ME3 was even released.

Even if Mass Shift was real, the whole plan would had been scrapped by now anyway given the massive backlash towards ME3's ending.
