Gajeel and lily's appearance were badass. A nice twist done by Mashima.

Lately we've been getting so many NaLu moments that I fear Mashima is up to something not good later in the story.

Talking about END huh? Or Natsu's wild attitude making him the biggest threat.

Yeah but Mashima is teasing us with NaLu moments since 4 chapters straight. Although I don't think anything major to Natsu will happen in Avatar arc since we just had Tartarus arc conclude with the great reveal few chapters back but this feels like calm before the storm.

Then there is also Lucy who might not letting her anger go all out on Natsu.

Well jokes aside, imagine this reunion/recruiting arc ends with Natsu leaving FT just after he recruits everyone back and END is revived. This...tthis would be great although I think Mashima would do something better than this haha.

They've been teasing NaLu from the moment she joined the guild and this has just intensified it.

Lets face it revealing that natsu was END and then doing what they've done was stupid because its made quite irrelevant by the group abandoning one another. Still you have a good 10-15 chapters at least before the gangs all here. By the time this is over Zeref will reveal Natsu's true identity and it will likely be once FT reunites but

I wouldnt simplify it quite that cleanly. Avatar is a sneaky combination of the 3 dark guilds together. These guys all have demonic powers that much is obvious "tartaros" The heirarchy of the group speaks to "OS" The blind warship of Zeref and his ambitions is "GH" Yea mine's pretty clean also but o well.

Fairy tail Chapter 427 (Heated Underground battle)
Natsu's team and Gajeel's council team close in at Avatar's hideout.
Arlock will detect that intruders are nearing their base.
He then orders Gray and Jerome to confront them.
Gray encounters the council led by Gajeel and Pantherlily.
Gajeel is shocked and asks Gray what he is doing in the enemy's side.
Gray says, I need to destroy the book of Zeref, End!
Gajeel replies,I don't know what your intentions are but you are standing in my way, Gray!
They engage in an Iron vs. Ice battle.
On the other hand, Natsu faces Jerome and reveals his (Jerome's) dark sword powers.

I think their fake first gajeel knows gray is there but the spoiler act like he doesn't also the whole jerome dark sword power bit sound like a lame try at guessing his power from his nickname next thing you know well get a spoilers that natsu can summon salamanders then their the fact this is not from the people who normally give spoiler.

Well, on one hand, I'm not quite sure I feel good about three members of Avatar being fodderized in a single chapter by Natsu. On the other hand, It kind of makes sense since Natsu has reached a whole other level of power by evidence of his Bluenote one-shot. I just hope Jerome at least can be some sort of threat. Avatar can't be all jokes, can they?

Anyway, I'm glad Mashima decided not to take his sweet time getting Natsu and Gray to reunite. I'm pretty excited to see how much stronger Gray has gotten. He was pretty beastly a year ago, so he must be a goddamn monster now. This should be a good taste of things to come, as I don't see Mashima allowing these two to go all out on each other until Gray finds out about Natsu's true identity as END.

I wonder if Natsu will tell Gray that he is responsible for evil Rouge which entails gray realizing he was ultimately responsible for what happened to Ultear which could make the cuurnt situation better or worse?

First off Gray being responsible for the Evil Rouge is one thing and that ultimately i dont think u can completely blame on current Gray. Ultear is another matter entirely. The fact remains Ultear becoming an old lady was her own will and tbh fits finely with what we already know about Ultear. That would be foolish

As for the rest of Avatar god hope they wont be fodder.

I have a feeling that D-6 will probably get back up. We don't know a thing about the guy. Also, the reason Hiro is making Natsu one-shot everyone is so that the next big bad guy can do the same to him. He's just trying to blow our minds.
