The missing skull of that skeleton (FMA#34 12:15-12:25). And when Greed died it shattered into pieces (FMA#34 20:17- 20:33).

did you didnt notice that greed said that kimbley knew his weakness? Coal has carbon and so do daimonds, which is what greed uses to make his shield like i said before . Also how can he have the bones if the ydisintegrated "when" greed died, being that the bones were inside of the house at that time, no?

It was the Skull, not some coal or anything. How can you say its not the skull? Plus those bones in the house, we only saw them once, they're dust now and so is the skull which was NOT in the house on the table.

Deepest apologies, Zauren! I now give credit where it is due: Zauren and I are always conspiring about not only dashing (gasp) but also some FMA theories (even bigger gasp!). So we were right, and that means we're just so damn awesome I'm wondering what Bones will do for the next two to three episodes after 35 to properly set up the anime for the final arc. Also, anyone have any ideas why the Elrics are heading for Ishbal?

They're heading for Ishbal because they want to continue researching the myths and facts about the way the Philosopher's Stone was created, realizing that Ishbal's a non-Alchemy country.

Ed wants to figure out an alternate way to produce the Stone without implying the cost of sacrificing people. He's conjecturing that the Ishbalis or their ancestors might had known about that process.

I'm confused as to how Greed died. His head was blown off, and he survived just fine. But when his body is pierced, he dies? Why can he regenerate his head and not a wound in his body? (or does this have to do with his statment about him being weakened when confronted with the bones of the person who is attempted to be brought back from the dead?)

Lust said she is the "new Lust", does that mean that there was an "old Lust"? Who killed the old Lust?

How did Dante die?

What exactly was the transmuatation circle made by Layla (or was it Envy, with the help of Wrath) formed that surprised Greed and made him cough up the philosophers stone.

Finally, how come Lust and Gluttony are back? What happened with Mustang with the Ishbal people?

greed lost his "life" when he was attacked with that alchemy seal, where he puked out all those fake philosopher stones. he could still make his "unbreakable" shield but when ed found out how to pierce it, he was able to kill him because he already was majorly weakened. the circle was the one that sealed greed for 140 years. lust and gluttony were always around... mustang, maybe they'll talk about that later...

yeah.. i didn't really understand the bones part. lyra said to greed "those are your bones" and then greed dies and say "if we are faced with the bones of our creator, we become paralzyed"

Why assume it's Dante that is Greed's creator and not Lyra? From the events that seems to make more sense to me. No mystical soul switching involved, just Dante either killed because she had to be or used as some sort of sacrifice. Lyra could easily be hiding her true power, plus it makes the whole 130+ years old thing more understandable since she seems to move around more. Dante's comment to Izumi could be explained by Dante having an idea of what was going on and her death a result of trying to stop Lyra.

I think that this is the most likely theory so far.

I just watched 33 and 34 and Im really glad I waited to see them both at the same time! 33 would have left a huge gaping hole in my life and 34 seemed to fill it. 33 ended like Matrix Reloaded and 34 had closure to it, thank god!

1)The sin with the samurai sword was made from someone trying to resurrect their dead dog? Because he said something about being a dog.

2)The next question is how was the other sin made, the one with the malet (the huge hammer like thing). He said something about being part of the war back in Ishbal, was he originally a state alchemist?

3)The third one is why did Greed cough up the stones? Is it because of the circle thing that he was under or below (i forgot)? And if it was because the circle thing, who put it there?

4)And finally, was it just me or was Dante's maid acting a bit weird? She didn't act like the way she did in a couple ep. before this one. Also, before Greed started to puke up the stones, he knew who the maid actually was. Who exactly is the maid?

For your first two questions,

they are not sins. They were soldiers or military personal that were used as an experiment either because they were fataly wounded or had committed a crime.

For your 3rd question

it seems pretty clear that it was because of the circle and the bones of Greed's formal self that made him puke out the sorcerer's stones. It is not clear who put it but it is implied that Laila (the maid) is the one who drew it there.

For your 4th question

This is only a theory but I believe Laila is in fact the lady who was killed. It seems to me like she pulled some kind of soul transmutation so that she could take over Laila's body and Laila's soul into her own, then killed her. I got this because Greed states that Laila couldn't possibly have drawn that complicated transmutation circle. Man if this is true I feel so bad for her.

You people have all seen up to the 34th episode it seems. My site that i was watching fma on took them off when it was licensed and i haven't seen episodes 31 and up yet. I really need to know where to locate more episodes so I can watch the rest because hearing you guys talk about episodes i haven't seen is painful...but heres my problem. Its not that im lazy cuz i have found tons of sites with the episodes but none of them will work on my stupid computer. The only files that work are mp3's made especially for Windows Media Player. Torrents, bs player, nothing works. Does anyone else have the same problem as me and knows of a site that has episodes available for viewing only on Windows Media Player? Or should I face the facts that my computer is a piece and I will never be able to finish the subbed FMA untill the dreaded dubbed version comes out. I really need some help...thanks

hello, i thought that the whole point of this thread was to discuss the 34th episode of FMA, therefore everyone here would be expecting a discussion of things that happened in FMA up to and including episode 34.

My question is, are the majority of spoiler tags in here to mention what has happened during the episodes really necessary?

I'm pretty new to the forum so I kinda want to clarify what people regard as being a spoiler before I post anything

so for example people have asked what was in archers bag, but this question and the answer have been given within spoiler tags, but is it really a spoiler?

Well bascially,i think the cable-like 'tatoo's on the homoculus' are something like their acupuncture points,i theororize that,is someone were to block those points by internal or external points,the homoculus would be rendered immobile.The main reason why i think that Wrath was able to capture Greed,was because he knew of these 'accunpucture points',thus,when we look back and see the 'crusified' Greed,his cable-like tatoo's were blocked by Bradley's blades,this then stops him from regenerating and also using his carbon-based 'shield'.
His 'shield' is bascially made up of carbon,and even if his 'shield' was able to defend against steel blades,it would be generally redenered useless against a bucket full of acid.(Or other dangerous chemical substances)
2.According to the theory i have stated above,his 'tatoos' were blocked and thus,according to my theory,prevents him from tapping into his 'ultimate shield' defense.

Al got his memory back,this will help move on with the story,because as they have shown,an 'entrence fee' is required to go into the gate.(The gates designs were based on 'The tree of sephiroth' a map showing the 9 heavens.I think )Thus,the theory is,(*Not my theory,the Elric's and their master's theory*)that since Al 'paid' the most 'entrence fee'(*his entire physical form*)he had the most knowledge gained from the experience.(the experience of going through the gate and having the knowledge 'crammed' into your head*)Thus,they believe that this(Al's gained knowledge) will proberbly help them in their own ends.But one thing that im pretty sure of is proberbly a kind of 'set-back' in the story will occur,something along the lines of Al knowing that 'with great power comes great responsibility' and thus,refuses to share his info?Anyways,that is only a matter of personal speculation.
