Well... I have to ask a piece of advice... I'm gonna go as Will to the next italian con (Cartoomics) and I'm not sure whether to use purple or black trousers... The only two OFFICIAL picture are these ones... in the one coming out from the novel Will has a lightblackalmostgraytendingtopurple pair of trousers, whereas in the one taken from the manga the trousers clearly are purple. (The last picture is only a fanart)

Uhmm in my opinion black trousers (but not too dark) since the purple scarf (?) from Will's waist could not be noticed.

The fact is that I already have a pair of dark purple trousers exactly as those in the picture you posted, as well as the purple scarf (which is instead lighter, like the one in the pic) and I wanted to use those... and I have a pair of light black trousers too xD And I don't know which ones I should use... What do you think?

I would go for the light black, really, it works much better with the coat/scarf/shirt combination. I'm not a heavy believer of fictional visual perception so I'd definitely say black.

I say use purple. His pants are clearly that grey-ish purple, so black would be innaccurate. Accuracy really gets me.. Or at the very least a black with purple tones.. Black pants would also throw off the difference between the shoes and the pants..
