Unless you are certain you can do it better it's usually best to leave what ain't broke alone. Least you forget what made the original great in the first place. The three Negima series are probably the best examples. Thus far none of them avoided turning into cluster fucks simply because the producers wanted to do their own thing. In the case of M+H IMO Shinbo made the right choice.

I personally really enjoyed the manga, and was very happy to see it being brought over to screen. (I do admit I stopped reading, though, because the funny bits weren't as surprising any more if I watched after I'd read. XD)

Ahh, episode 10. I kinda ran out of steam and didn't bother describing the last bit, but some screenshots..

Spoiler:

They're generally the last images in the screenshot galleries, links to which are at the Maria Holic page on my blog. I'll probably collect all of them in a post when it finishes.
1-2: Can't remember if there were any, they weren't in my screenshots. XD
3: Kondou Rururu (Takamare! Takamaru)
4: Hikawa Hekiru (Pani Poni)
5: 狐印?
6: Saxyun
7: Aoki Ume (Hidamari Sketch)
8: BLADE (Magician's Academy..illust.)
9: Kumeta Kouji (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei)

I'm fairly sure Jin Kobayashi (School Rumble) did an endcard (Ep 1).

I got some bad news for you people. *snip* disbanding and dropping all of their projects until the release of the 6th Kara no Kyoukai DVD.

If you manage to figure out what this means, then all together everybody and say it with me:
I'm in Despair!!!

That's actually a little bit overboard, don't you think? Freedom of speech and all that - naming the group doesn't count as posting a link.

It doesn't change the fact that this is apart of Media Factory Inc. Talking about fansubs or anything related in these threads are a no no.

[off]It is not "talking about fansubs" - it is talking about a fansub group. As long as no links are given it is completely legal in any country.[/off]

SHAFT shows are famous for being low budget. Directors that can participate in low-budget series are valuable personnel in the anime industry, Shinbo Akiyuki is one of that. AFAIK, the one responsible for idea of changing plots, etc. is those that credited with "Planning" (企画) ...except in some case.

Not coincidentally, the artists for each endcards also linked some way to the series.

Spoiler for Just taking up too much space.:

If VOFAN or Watanabe Akio did the endcard for the eleventh episode, my life would be complete.

I'm pretty sure that linking to a site that in turn links to something that may or may not be illegal is a-ok even in the most anal of jurisdictions, because the implication of legislation that outlaws it would be that you are responsible for the content of any site you link to (or if you take it to the next logical step, that you are responsible for the content of sites that the site which you originally linked to links to in turn), which obviously would pretty much break the internet since noone would dare to link anywhere.

Anyone apart from me listened to the two soundtracks yet?

When they were first announced, i was a little bit confused on why there would be two volumes, though over the past few weeks more and more new pieces have appeared. I recognize just about each piece, so all is good. Both soundtracks are loads of fun.

I guess they did the 2 CDs because there are a LOT of radio/CD drama material in there. It's a bit weird. Also, a ton of the tracks seem to be the specific soundbits you get as background music. Not too many fully featured, 2-3 minute ones like you do with some OSTs.

Seriously, if everyone have to be better at one field before they can have a say regarding to that, then this world would be in deep chaos.
But like i said, my opinion would not make any effect, unless it is the 'last straw' in the matter or somehow can create a wave in internet
