Poor Takanashi indeed - can't catch a break, can he? I just wonder what will happen once Inami and everyone else puts two and two together and realises 'the novelist' is Souta's sister . Brilliant episode |

She spends most of the day in her room, trying to write a novel. From the looks of it, she barely gets any exercise and thus has very low stamina and strength (which is probably why she crawls to the dining table).
Still, I liked the exposure she got in this episode.

12-ish episodes all told, so just a single cour's worth. This explains the cherry-picked nature of the skits used (particularly those pertaining to Inami's man-issues), as I guess the production committee wasn't sure if the series would generate enough sales.

Ahahaha. Yachiyo in Kyouko's breasts. Too bad that Kyouko seems to be almost asexual in her gluttony.
Satou x Yachiyo is actually one of my main reasons for watching this series. You know that Satou is a real man 'cause he's managed to make Yachiyo like and trust him, even subconsciously. At the same time, Shouma's right, he's a bit of a wuss as far as coming clean about his feelings. By this point, I think we can summarize the love triangle like this: Kyouko is asexual, Yachiyo is lesbian for Kyouko, and only unconsciously bi for Satou who is in love with her in return. The only proper resolution to this then is to have a bit of a voyeuristic threesome where Yachiyo lets Kyouko see Satou making her a woman. Kyouko starts seeing Yachiyo sexually, Satou gets his, and Yachiyo is lucky enough to start enjoying it both ways. lol, goddamnit, this is what I mean about this series making me think of kinky things. I'm serious though, I can't really imagine at this point anymore Yachiyo being happiest in a monogamous relationship. To move onto the Takanashi x Inami relationship. Takanashi seems somewhat broken to me, 'cause like Kyouko as far as I see he seems asexual too. In fact, the "dog" comparison of his relationship to Inami, I think was already made before. It is discomfiting (and at the same time, somehow incredibly kinky) to think that, therefore, to fall in love with Inami, all Takanashi needs to do is learn to love a 'dog'. If this series never gets beyond Takanashi reforming Inami to a stage of Inami conversely reforming Takanashi, I'm afraid that such a degrading relationship is as far as Takanashi x Inami is gonna lead. Poplar and Yamada are just plain fetish fuel. But, okay, I guess this series really isn't as sexually charged as I make it out to be. It works fine as a comedy. Episode 4 sure had me laughing. Otoo's wife, Haruna, for one thing really amazingly comes off somehow as Otoo's mirror image. edit: Yeah, I would like a Yamada doll like that as well. |

Ep 4-
What I liked about the manga was how every strip had a joke. Some lines here were changed to increase drama , which the visuals help make a bit heavy. I have some other gripes, but I've read the manga too many times to be sensible about them. |
